Two-Sport Athlete Jasen Lopez Recaps Visit To Miami

Kid could very well become our best receiver. Never know. X back in the day no one knew what position he’d play just that he was a dawg.

As for chaminade vs Columbus we will see how Lopez and cooper turn out. They also got Jeremiah Bailey and jojo. 2/3 so far there. Kenyatta Jackson plays a lot for taint. Columbus we got Fitzgerald who looks like he will be a dude. Capers had a pick against us lol. Mendoza may win the heisman. Chaminade out front currently
I'm not talking about all the kids from there. I'm talking about the ones we have gotten. So far hasn't been much fruit. Still time though. I don't think he will be better than Toney who might get to AR numbers plus the return game.

Well so far our Chaminade kids have been a flop. Simpson hopefully changes that. Fitzgerald is already making plays so there is that. I get the records and with extra schollirs I would take this kid as keep away from FSU but he plays the same position as our best offensive player so he would not play here for two years.
They are good in HS, good when they go to other colleges but flop when we get them… stop, our development has been porous that last decade.
Good example is watch some NFL games and see how many starters announce they are from THE U.

Blah blah blah, we just didn't get the best ones so far.

You attribute that to development? I would say there were a few blatant examples of failures in development. A lot more blatant examples of poor evals.

Had to look it up - lol
We have 22, probably more than I thought. Not sure how many are starters.
Alabama has 62.

Many of our pro players are also marginal. Just getting to the league is an incredible accomplishment, kudos to every one of those guys. But obviously a huge drop off in talent... I maintain that 90% of that was poor talent acquisition only 10% poor development.

I know a lot of guys here are gonna disagree, but this is one dude we’re gonna regret if he’s not in the orange and green. A lot of disrespect towards this kid for whatever reason. I don’t know if it’s because he’s Hispanic, if it’s because he plays another sport or cause he’s got curly hair or maybe his basketball shorts are too **** short or whatever the case may be. Perhaps it’s because DMoney capes up for him too much and DMoney is like Eddie the Mush lately but this guy is a **** of a receiver, and we need to keep him home.

The worst part about it is he’s gonna give us fits for the next 3 to 4 years if he ends up signing with FSU.

If anything, he’d be insurance if Spafford’s ankle is worse than thought. Spafford came back but looked hobbled so they finally shelved him for the year with the playoffs starting against Mater Dei.

I'm ok taking two Y kids.
1. Can we use 2 Y's this year? Toney and Tony in 4wr sets? Dawson hasn't shown this in his toolbox.
2. Can we land 2 X this year? Parris and Evans then USE them vs running a flanker/Z out at X.
