Oregon just out bagged us for D Jackson. Why do we think they won’t do the same for a higher ranked Washington?

Maybe making Oregon up the bag for Washington forcing Oregon to raise their offer and making Jackson to expensive to keep or upsetting Jackson that Washington got x amount of $$ and they are not giving him the same 🤷‍♂️

Wishful thinking probably though

Bro ain’t nobody fckin w Adidas x Fear of God, bruh. It’s been a massive flop thus far, & that’s what Adidas’ asses gets for constantly trying to poach Nike employees & collaborators expecting to hit gold. They’ve been doing this since the Sonny Vaccaro days.

The unis were met w/ poor reviews, & u can currently find his athletic shoes on hella discount b/c they r uncomfortable af. Meanwhile Nike x Fear of God has doubled in resale value.

& if u don’t believe me that its been a flop, I’ll attach the link to their athletic site & u let me know what u find:

Adidas‘s uniforms are far better than the garbage Nike was giving us at the end. Their Miami clothing apparel is much better as well and they treat us as we deserve to be treated, which is a five time national champion blue blood program. Nike treated us like garbage, so **** them!

We absolutely have to stop with this false equivalency.

It's just not true. And it's a straw-man.

Yes, towards the end of our time with Nike, we were at the tail-end of a 15-year process of redesigning our uniforms every 2-3 years. WE WERE NOT FORCED TO DO THAT. Our limp-**** spineless ADs (particularly the Shermanator and Beta Blake) could have chosen to go "traditional", but they did not. The most obvious example of that is when IMMEDIATELY upon switching to adidas, we received the single-worst uniform ever given to a Miami football team EVER.

So it wasn't "the apparel company". It was the progression of ****bird ADs who signed off on things without actually looking at them (closely). The blowback from the 2015 adidas uniform disaster was SO BAD that we were forced to go back to one of the most simplistic designs humanly possible. So....sure...if you want to compare 2025 adidas uniforms to the stuff that THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI ATHLETIC DIRECTORS allowed to spiral in the last decade of Nike...whatever, knock yourself out.

But to @Rellyrell 's points, regardless of whether you like the LOOK of the new uniforms, this overlooks the fact that the QUALITY of our uniforms (the material, the stitching, the fit, etc.) is worse with adidas that it was (or would be) with Nike. This is nearly inarguable.

So whether we argue AESTHETICS or, you know, ACTUAL QUALITY, we have to stop doing this ridiculous "2025 adidas vs. 2012 Nike" comparative garbage. It's crazy. It's irrelevant. The world has changed. Very few schools (besides Oregon) are "constantly changing" their uniforms the way that Miami did from 1999-2014. It's just not happening. "Traditional plus an occasional alternate" is the new rule of the day.

As for the rest of that paragraph above, it's beyond bizarre. @Rellyrell and I have repeatedly posted the contract details, as well as how poorly adidas has treated Miami as an institution. We've pointed out the VASTLY larger merchandise options and availability for Nike schools vs. adidas schools. And I certainly don't think you have to choose to be a "big fish" with the perpetual 2nd place company rather than being "one of many fish" with the industry leader. That is analogous to choosing to eat Burger King over Wendy's when YOU KNOW that Burger King doesn't taste better, but because "Burger King treats you better at the front counter".

I have posted about Jett several times. I posted, he was my favorite S in the class before we hadn't even offered him yet. He was wanting a Miami offer for a while before that. A mistake by our program, but their is still time.
Thompkins I was unfamiliar with. Let's get us some S's. RB as well.

Completion looks awful for Thompson. He’s got solid size and is athletic enough but he’s going to have to be taught how to tackle at the next level.

Does anyone know if IMG even plays guys both ways or just one position?

img doesnt need to play guys both ways i dont think they do much.

What i do hope is that he came to img from spring or summer atleast and is in their s&c which would help him. then he will have the step up in comp in practice and game situations

Go read a book

If he’s Kobe’s nephew, is he in need of a bag lol
i think u need to go recheck your history on kobe and his family.

They well off but not as much as you would think. He use to break off his wife family though, so thats what had a lil family rift. This sister is good with kobes wife though...Jetts mom is the oldest child i believe.

If only we knew some from Bishop Gorman from the 2024 class….

Why hasn’t Jett been a big priority for years now?

Yeah that’s why I asked because would definitely impact how I’d evaluate him if he’s there to play RB and not get any reps at LB.

bruh just ignore those people they have to be 100 years old and not know the quality of Nike. They just prefer the "look" so they think its better just based on their taste (so for them its "better"). But they have no idea the material is *** compared to Nike
