Two LSU QB's considering leaving team

What sucks for LSU is that ideally, they probably wanted to redshirt Brennan this year to create 2 years separation between him and Burrow. If Brennan doesn't win the starting job, why would he stay? He has to be the backup, which means he has to play. Which means at best he gets one year of starting when Burrow is done. I wouldn't stay for that kind of razor thin margin.
LSU is in a tough spot.

Dont disagree with the thin spot comment, however with the new rule Brennan can play in 4 games and hold his redshirt. If and i mean IF Burrow stays healthy he will be fine... According to Brennan and his parents they love LSU and have no intentions of moving on... That may change

True enough on the first point, but it would be a huge negative if the QB sustains an injurey. Burrow could tweak an ankle in practice... slip on a bar of soap while prancing around in the shower... get run over by a spontaneous street parade while visiting New Orleans... have an allergic reaction to some bad jumbo... become the subject of a voodoo curse... lots of possibilities.

Or may we put Gurvan Hall into the game and send him on a safety blitz early in the first quarter, with the suggestion that he may ignore any whistles for the play.

McMillan made his transfer announcement this morning. So that's 2 down and 2 to go!!!

its dangerous for their season if he gets hurt, but he's not likely to get hurt before their first game. And who cares if he gets hurt after their first game. this isnt anything to be excited about for us.

Kosi isn't transferring when he has a good chance of starting next year.

Nor are Jarren or Cade because their chances are just as good.

Next year it'll be an open competition. It's what good QB's live for.

Agreed. These guys know the job is totally open next year, and all of them have had their moments of praise to give them reason to believe they'll be that guy. Once the dust settles on the competition next season I can certainly see one of the group leaving.
