Two biggest takeaways

My biggest take-away? We were sold a bunch of BS. We ran all over them because we are vastly more talented. That won't happen against many ACC teams. We need to be able to hit passes down the field, and I am not convinced after what I witnessed last night that we have one. King is a heck of an athlete, but if we can't get the ball into the hands of OTHER play makers, we are screwed. I was expecting to see our guys, especially TEs and WRs, open. I expected King to be able to see them and deliver.

We looked a LOT like 2017, before teams figured us out. We all know how that ended. I guarantee you it won't take until game 11 for teams to do so this time. We simply need to be able to stretch the field, or the **** thing will shrink every game until there is nowhere for anyone to run.

I will absolutely ride it out... Love the team but I see the same problems...same strange coaching decisions... Say what u want but letting our rbs get lit up in the 4th was insane...not trying for first downs up only three scores with 8 minutes to go...its coaching... Manny is a people pleaser... I mean Marshall few and Ryan rag getting snaps in a one score game blew me away..pope running backwards on every punt...coaching is our issue and it shows on the field it's pretty clear
I trust Marshall few more than Pope.

They better bench ivy. You can’t be serious about winning if you are starting him. That 2018 class was fools gold on signing day

I know what we WON'T see more of in the future; celebrating after making a first down on offense. I can only imagine how ****ed off Lashlee was every time one of our guys would get up and motion first down or do something other than immediately give the ball to the official and get lined up. Dude wants to go fast, and you can't go fast doing that isht. I was praying that the camera would pan on him because I know he was losing it. LOL

Woot woot!!!!

Go Canes!!!!!
Dude. I swear he kicked one ball that traveled 70 yards in the air. I almost can't wait for Aussie Tat to take off running with the ball. It's only a matter of time before he converts for another Miami Hurricane................

FIRST DOWN!!!!!!!

Go Canes!!!

This time last year we were 0-1 on our way to a 0-2 start.

we are 1-0 with Louisville next. 2-0 here we come.

Some of you guys are calling for the vanilla offense or whatever......that’s cool. But if this is 2017 all over and we win 10-11 Games I’ll take that tbh.

Winning actual football games over every stat. We win 10 games and lock up some monster recruiting classes for 21 and 22. Then we won’t have to worry about the stats. We will have better athletes and the stats will take care of itself.

Just win the **** football games idc how they do it. Running the ball and playing D is great recipe for winning and Miami did that last night.

Navy was the best rushing team in America and won 11 games. You won’t find many great rushing teams that are absolute trash.....
That's the thing, I get it, UM may not win that national title, but be entertaining, fun, be a team that young kids will want to be a part of in the future. Last night, with the tempo, some of the big plays, it looked more watchable to me....

Randall Hill would've had a real issue in this current offense..

Yes, but later in the game UM stopped playing up-tempo, and started that annoying ‘look back at the OC’ crap. Why? UAB was nearly gassed. UM could have stayed with tempo, and made the plays to build enough of lead to pull King sooner.

yeah but at that point it's clear they went from full court press to Dean Smith's 'four corners'...not saying I agree with it, though
