For anyone that needs clarity on the current state of our program what you are seeing going in at Twitter HQ is exactly what is going on in the Miami Hurricanes Locker Room. Times are changing and you either get on board with the changes or you get out. For those struggling with the concept of us being 5-5 and a 19 point dog this weekend this is why. A positive with the recession Tech companies are currently experiencing is allowing them to restructure their model to be more efficient. The culture among many Tech companies is high pay for less work. Elon will pay well but require you to work hard for it Twitter had a bunch of smart, entitled employees who worked at their own pace and a very laz a faire approach. The outrage from them is simply having that cushy work culture being taken away from them and are now to do the opposite which is actually come into the office and work.

Our frustration comes from our 13th ranked blue chip culture while looking as putrid as we do. The word "smart" above was used to mirror what we view as blue chips. Any Hurricane that Mario played with will tell you the practices were harder than the games. Mario is taking it back there but the reality is we currently have players walking out of practice and their parents tweeting at coaches who a year ago were coaching in the College Football Playoff. You have examples of Leonard Taylor and Kam Kichens discussing how much extra film they watch with this new staff and you see their progress. Then you have example of Thad Franklin who were likely promised the world by Manny Diaz, told how great he is and learned they could do the bare minimum and still play now hit actual leadership of trying to teach him how to work hard, get hard coaching and earn every snap. Culture is everything and the resistance Elon is facing is exactly what Mario is dealing with. Give Elon time and he will have Twitter more profitable than ever and Mario will have us where we all want to be.

They both also failed to get buy in by thinking they know so much more than everyone else and have suffered unforced errors while trying to change the culture.

Mario by not doing any of the things that worked previously and therefore blundering his heisman candidate QB with a new system he couldn’t excel in and Elon by letting go of people he had to hire back because he didn’t realize the scope of what they did and he actually needed them lmao

But I agree there is a culture shift going on in both places.

I know former Oregon players that love Mario. Good luck finding that with Hank Scorpio (err, Elon)..

Bad analogy but the point is correct.

Like I’ve said in the beginning of the year, there’s too many losers on this team. Not enough winners.

Excellent analogy. Well put

To me what will count is where do these kids who are causing the problems and being forced out end up. If they end up at top end schools that means they see something in the film. If they all end up at Missouri, Utah State, or Duke because of former coaches taking a shot that will tell me what I need to know.

Elon is losing a ton of money and is running Twitter into the ground. Remember Dogecoin?
Mario is trying to build a future.
Ridiculous comparison.
