Incredible performance considering VT does not give up over 300 yards passing in a passing conference plus the rain factor made his passing numbers even more incredible. Credit to his WR's and Mallory for catching in that environment. VT has been tough on us and the performance was really fun to watch. Even though the only significance was bowl eligibility it will go down as one of my favorites. TVD has made this team more fun to watch knowing anytime he can go yard regardless of field position. Sure was wet and soggy but TVD played as if it were dry.

He's the first QB for a team I like that makes me want longer fields so I can see more passing yards. Not really, but I actually see the silver lining when we start inside the 10.

You know your QB is the real deal when you start thinking like that.
Ha. I haven't thought of that with him yet, but I can relate to this comment because it's how I grew up watching Marino. Every dropback was an exciting chance to watch an absolute rocket. Really fun. Hope that happens with TVD.

TVD is a #1 draft choice, he looks to the ceiling and it’s boundless.

(2) more years and gone , his play will open doors for the U to get others like him.

Good kids like him don’t come by very often as we’ve all experienced recently over the years.

Enjoy TVD while he’s here the NFL is all over him already especially being on trophy watch next year.

Hopefully, he can cash in on some healthy NIL deals in the meantime..

I hope we don’t run a single down vs Duke. TVD for 650 and 8 TDs
Yep, but we couldn't run last week. 1.8 YPC is below the NCAA 130-team stat sheet for rushing. We fixed the passing game, we need to fix the running game now particularly with everyone spread out most of the time. I bet the OC focuses on the run early this week.

TVD is confident and he's agrressive always in attack mode. He's obviously still developing as a QB. I'd like to see him take what the defense gives him a little more and use his check downs. He had more than a few opportunities throughout the course of the game, but elected to take the deep shot.

After years of cringing every time our QB dropped back to pass, it’s great to now get excited knowing Dimes is gonna put it up.

My biggest critique of him so far. Definitely seems to always be looking downfield (not necessarily a bad thing) and sometimes misses easy checkdowns for solid gains. I think he will get it down with some good coaching and continued development.

I think they'll for sure try to get Harley and Rambo their records..
SIAP but Harley needs 5 receptions to become #1 all-time at UM, Rambo needs 106 yards to pass Berrios and move to #40 in UM receiving yards, and TVD needs 450 yards for a 3,000 yard season.

Lashlee let it be known offense is fully aware.. The record book has been put on alert..

You know your QB is the real deal when you start thinking likeI don't automatically think the drive is going nowhere anymore when we start inside the 10.

I don't automatically think the drive is going nowhere when we start inside the 10 now. I used to.

It's been stated here before but his best quality is he doesn't seem to get rattled. Even keeled after a big play or a bad play. Great mental make-up for a QB.
