The double move in the first half by George. If he throws the ball when he hits his drop that’s delivered around the 5 yard line and it’s an easy TD. Instead he holds it, triple hitches it and pretty much throws it out of the back of the end zone. He has done it time and again. That’s why zone is his Achilles heel. He waits but by then the window is closing and the delivery is late.

yeah, that was another one. Also NCST game, his INT into the endzone, just a bad underthrow. But there was a RPO to George that was thrown behind him where he had to make a circus one-hand grab. But a more accurate throw and it's a TD

He obviously did a good job today, but he’s clearly hesitating and worried about making a mistake. He still doesn’t look comfortable to me. Doesn’t see it well and it looks like a bit of a chore at times.

TVD has played well the last 2 games. 600+ yards and no interceptions. If he played like that all season we’d probably be 10-2. He’s a flawed QB, we all understand that, but he deserves credit for bouncing back after his struggles and having a pair of solid performances. Most of us thought he was completely finished a few weeks ago. He’s obviously playing in a much more risk averse fashion and it’s leading to some missed opportunities, but it’s also led to 76 points and 1,000 yards of offense in our last 2 games.

He spent 6 games as the best QB in football and 6 as the worst. I hope he comes back and improves. For all the talk about the team showing progress: here we have a guy that showed he can be the best. If someone comes in and beats him out, so be it

Yes, but do you know why he played better in certain games and not in others.

He's still who always was, a low IQ qb with a big arm and limited mobility.
He's a one read QB and he throws to an open receiver, never throws to open up the receiver, hence why zone is a rough go for him.

He needs an OC that makes the read for him built in to the play call.

There is a problem with this line of thinking. In a one score game, which almost all of our games were. Those plays he's missing are the difference between winning and losing. People on this board talk about Mario and Dawson killing the offense in almost every post. With decent qb play our record would be 10-2 or 9-3 at worst.

I'd say his relentless onslaught of picks earlier this year was the difference; but point taken. I'd take TVD vs BC all day everyday vs TVD during midseason. Throw the ball out of the endzone and regroup... we got seven the next play IIRC.
