TVDs lack of awareness in a nutshell

Yeah the ball hasn't hit his hands yet and a guy diving at his back foot. Good story with at screen shot, but things in motion tends to stay in motion....you know that whole energy theory!!
Yes it did. You need to go watch the video. That second shot is the ball clanking off his hands you think the ball came in parallel to the ground?

Nobody ever said Tvd wasn’t to blame , I mean you have read the board as he was absolutely destroyed for a month right ? It’s just coach cult like yourself who refuse to notice the changes in the offense the last two weeks and that blame could be on them as well.

Maybe asking why they were playing a guy who had no business playing for a couple weeks? Why was there so much more 11 personnel with more spacing the last two weeks ? What abiut a lot more motion? Use of the tight ends and running more than five yard routes? Wheel routes and angle routes to the rb? Why was there far less max protect sending 3-4 eligible receivers out against 7 defenders ?

Why did it take Dawson until the season is almost over to ask what he likes and doesn’t like ? Even Gattis did that in game 3-4. How ironic the last two games is his best games since September , weird timing wouldn’t ya say? Just like Unc after him and Gattis spoke. It is ok to help out a qb that’s struggling and also playing injured.

But keep fighting the good fight soldier.
In hindsight the biggest mistake Mario made was not bringing in an arm through the portal to challenge him. Would have forced him to get better or forced him out the door.

I thought the most glaring example was the trick play (designed for a homerun) where he threw it underneath when #16 was running WIDE OPEN for a TD. Inexplicable since the play was designed to score a TD.

*with ample time, TVD did play well however.

He played the way someone with a clean pocket, strong run game should play..he’s had that all szn..thats why him ****ting the bed makes 0 sense to put on the staff..but he missed that 1..he also missed another deep shot..then he missed the play to 4 in the Redzone..we still left meat on the bone

Injury.

Same reason Joe Burrow looked like a backup in his first four games this season (only 2 TDs), then normal in his next four.
Not quite. Injury does not impact decision making and has nothing to do with Burrow. Injury does not make you throw into double and trible coverage. This is just more excuse making. Just like it is the OCs fault. Just pure cope.

He cannot read certain defenses. Against man D and bad teams he is fine like A&M and BC (still poor decisions but does not impact the O as much like missing wide open men for TDs). Against zone (every multiple INT game) he is trash, injury or not.

The way Mario handled an injured TVD last year and then the way Mario and Dawson handled an injured and clearly struggling TVD this year should concern everyone for the future

We’ve been abysmal at recruiting the position for a very long time and so far it is absolutely not getting better

As rough as it has been for TVD at times, Mario is flirting with it getting a whole **** of a lot worse
