Garcia hasn't done a thing against real bullets. This is TVD's job. Unfortunate Garcia got injured, but that's life.

So in some ways it was his worst game, but as far as the rest of his career goes, I think this may have been the most impressed I’ve been with him

I’m a huge Garcia fan but I don’t see this kid ever letting go of the job

It is possible to point out mistakes and positives. I’m very impressed with him. At the same time, the reason Rattler got replaced, was because there was a Caleb Williams behind him….. three turnovers in a half… will lead to calls for the backup soon… but we don’t have one…

Need to stock that room.

This whole board talked all week about the fact that Travis can't throw the ball. And we let him run the ball early. Manny is clueless.

Wasn't the narrative of the Garcia crew that TVD was a game manager and Garcia was a gunslinger?

I like TVD he's got that thing. Even having the bad start he just said F it and turned things around. A short memory is good when you're running the show. Lots of guys would have just kicked rocks and moped - Not TVD. Excited for him and the team with a legit staff.

Yeah not sure if it was a narrative or just how he practiced

It’s pretty clear when it matters the kid isn’t scared to let it go

Early on, those feet were in cement. He missed a couple throws that should have been 6. You can tell simply by how and when he climbs the pocket. Pure ladder drills this spring and summer - hopefully under a new coaching staff and culture.

I would have still put the ball in his hands on that late 3rd and short. Let him hit a quick route in the middle of the field (out of an empty set) OR run it. He's a gamer. Leave the ball in his hands.

Hopefully he hires a qb coach with his tvdimes phone case money.. Not sure if Rosier cuts it but Rosier is affiliated with bigger national qb coach (is is Avery?)

Lashlee still puts up points but I hate that it took him soooooooo long to hit FSU weakness and get TVD in rhythm. Broadcast said they bracketed Rambo but film shows we should have been raping them with Rooster early.. A bunch of teams hit HUGE plays with their backs and TE against FSU all season from ND, Syracuse, NCST, etc. People want to hype Smith but he not ready for these games, couldnt separate and bunch of drops in tight coverage.. If you not gonna move Rambo around and "feed the studs" without letting Defense dictate, you need to make them pay with a weapon like Rooster, I dont care about balance, he should of had 10 catches in first half of need be.. We had options but seemed to think we could get ball to smith?

-Going into game, Rooster should of been on alert he would be major part of passing game, film said thats where you make money..

-Move Rambo around, leaving him stationary and making it easy for Defense to dictate your offense is not good.. Rambo showed in 2nd half when he got passes thrown his way he was ready for moment and made most of his opportunities regardless of how tight coverage was..

-Screens, screens, screens should have been used as film has shown good results, to rooster, to Mallory, to whoever.. Especially with Dline teeing off early and Jarrid having his hands full all night.

-Have a game plan in place if #11 is wrecking **** like he was, dude was all over and made Jarrid do a freaking spin move he put him in a blender..

Yeah kinda my point starting it was ok…for this game that was rough. But for the future it’s a good sign I think

He can improve a lot

The funny thing is that most people who complain about TVD's 1st half performances against FSU, UNC, and UVA fail to understand thst each time he has come back in the 2nd half and put us in a position to win.

He's a winner. Winners never quit.

Agreed

I am a big Garcia fan as well which I think is also good for TVD

Seems like the type of kid that will thrive under the competition
