Zero reason to play in a bowl game when this team will either be 7-5 or 6-6 and going to the Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers or Sun Bowl against Utah.

That and if Dawson is out, that'd mean yet another new offensive coordinator for Van Dyke at Miami—Gattis last year, Lashlee the year before, Enos before that.

Godforbid the kid wants a fresh start at somewhere like an SMU in Lashlee's offense where he did well in 2020.

Well he’s been paid very well for playing qb here so he should play but it doesn’t really matter at this point. His time here is coming to an end and both sides need the split.

This. I have nothing against the kid and was really hoping he’d have a great year. That clearly didn’t happen and it’s time for him to go, regardless of what happens the next two games.

We should have went into the portal last year if Mario doesn’t get a portal qb he’s extremely stupid. Idc if he tvd leaves or stays get a portal qb

I could had told u that a long time ago. He is a diva. He only cares about the money he is making from the NIL deal. Plus riding around in his new BMW. I would gladly show him the door out. Move on. ✌🏼✌🏼

Cry me a river. He shouldn’t play like **** then we won’t have nothing to say. He needs be a man and stop acting like a *****. He had no shame taking the money to play here. He got paid to play here now finish the job
 
Just posting a Thanksgiving day take that I would be excited to not see TVD play again for Miami but because I am a Miami fan and I’ve been here long enough it’s a 50-50 shot that he goes somewhere else and becomes our Bo Nix because the football gods hate us
 
Just getting back from Thanksgiving holiday and I hope everyone had a great day with friends and family. I appreciate the dialog, but my main point is I think we can all agree it’s best for all parties if TVD moves on after this season. I just had an issue with the timing of it, the same way I had an issue with him flirting with Bama in the off-season. The bigger question, which many people have brought up, is who in the world plays QB for us in the bowl game if he opts out?
