this is false. your leader has to lead even when he's playing bad.

even when playing well, TVD has no interaction with his team. at one point, a few games, restrepo had to drag TVD (who was isolating) to the OL side to get them to huddle together.

A football team is not a social club. TVD doesn't have to be voted Mr. Popular. No where does it say you have to like your team mate aand get get warm fuzzies from being in their presence. You hope your QB is a true leader, but QB by position, often ends up with a C on the chest, but doesn't mean that person is a true leader on the team.

Bottom line is, are you getting the job done. If you're not, next man up.

And how do you lead when playing bad?, lol. Get real. Have you ever played, no body wants to play with a scrub.
 
Players not having confidence in TVD has ZERO to do with his almost transferring. That was a money decision and players respect that guys need to make their money. That is true in every industry.

Players not having confidence in TVD has EVERYTHING to do with him throwing INT’s and not seeing open receivers because every single person connected to UM football knows TVD can not consistently beat a zone defense.

Once a game starts all players care about his production on the field. TVD is not producing. Emory likely received a little slack because he is a true freshman and it was his first start, but if Emory plays poorly, players will lose confidence in him. That is just the psychology of sports. Make all the money you can make, but produce.

BTW, weren’t we all patting TVD on the back for his leadership and calm demeanor after the a&m game? I guess he temporarily found the team just for that game.

Yeah one sequence in the first half we had a bad drive and he was standing almost next to Cristobal after the punt. And am asking why is the whole offense not over there trying to sort wtf UVA doing. It was very telling whats there now

I think he knows he has no other option. Everyone saw the gameplan against Clemson. Even though we won, you can't play the rest of the schedule with the offense that limited.

Losing confidence n your QB n doing your job is 2 different things bro. You might want to rethink what you just said. They gave this **** all day just to prove its not us. It's this one eye tunnel vision lock on to one player can't read a zone @ss
 
I could care less if his teammates like him or his facial expressions. I care if he’s playing well and we’re winning. GT and now UVA performances are not acceptable. That said if he’s still playing well like he did earlier in the year nobody would be talking about his facial expressions or if players are his buddy. Funny how that works.

So the questions then are whether the TAMU version of TVD exists anymore at all, or ever existed against zone defenses?

IMO that he is playing hurt, and has lost confidence to throw into the windows offered by a zone defense. The sum of which is what we saw yesterday and will likely see for the rest of the season unless he miraculously heals AND can figure out how to throw against a zone. I don’t beleive both of those things will happen, and maybe neither will happen this season.

I'm not there with the team, so I don't know what's really going on. From the outside looking in, I can only say that our offense seems to have taken a few steps back.

Almost every pro player threatens to leave in free agency for personal goals and more money.

Seems like allot of unnecessary character attacks on TVD when the bottom line is he just can't read a defense very well right now.
