Of all the WRs I saw today he probably was the worst at creating separation. Breshard got open the most but wasn't targeted. Redding was a corpse out there. Keyshawn was forgettable. He has straight line speed but he lacks coordination so he can't separate cleanly. George didn't play enough but looked to be the most polished.
From the snaps I’ve seen this year melo looks the twitchiest. This offense is about timing until that clicks you’ll see drops and bad throws because players are thinking more than reacting. Thats why the first 2 weeks we should’ve repped our pass game vs live competition just to get guys more comfortable and confident but nah we was hiding the playbook lol
Not seeing it from him. I would not be surprised if he was one of the guys with a poor work ethic. He doesn't strike me as someone that puts in the work to be great. He didn't finish his routes, run full speed. He just looked like someone that will be taking gas station photos tonight.

Probably nobody will be as good as required but George would be my best guess. Keyshawn seemed better his freshman year than he does now for some reason, like he's slower or something. Horton might be the best one but he's so young.
In CFB freshmen play if they are better than upperclassmen. In a perfect world you don't rely on freshmen but through 3 games I will admit I'm highly disappointed in the acclimation process. I'm not gonna put a verdict out but no freshmen cracking the two deep anywhere is confusing.

Good points but this is an indictment on TVD. As a mock 1st rd pick he has to be able to do more than run a simple 1 read offense. So far it's not a good match I expected better from both.

Not anymore. He pretty much knocked himself out of the 1st round after this game. He has regressed. Last year he would use his eyes to move the defense but idk what is up with him this year.
Our first 3 opponents, a terrible Bethune Cookman, a sorry *** Southern Miss, and an aTm team missing a bunch of their best players on D due to suspensions and disqualifications, and our passing offense looked like *** in all 3 games. Tonight being the 3rd straight game.
I assume you are just bitter. TVD and Garcia combined to go 20/23 vs BCC.
That game was an anomaly. If we couldn’t do that against a school like BCC, then there’s no use in even fielding a squad.
