I don’t believe he’s a natural leader. I hear he’s putting more effort in that department but it’s not organic and not sure if it’ll translate on the field. Hopefully, I’m wrong.

There are other leaders emerging on this team, though. Future looks good.

Not all guys have to be vocal ra ra leaders. Just know when you have to speak up and demand attention.

Everyone has a different opinion on a good leader. There are many variables that play a role in that. Not sure TVD has that kind of respect or connection with teammates you’re alluding to.

Last year it was hard not to notice how poor his body language was. A lot definitely was warranted since he had virtually no help at all but there was a stark contrast to his overall energy vs Jacurri.
 
Ehh see it & believe it mode for the first time in my life. I think 6-7 win team until proven otherwise. Talent not there yet. 2 new coordinators yet again. Probably will be rough yr.

I feel exactly opposite. I see a 8-9 win team with a drastically improved Oline and Run game to go with a better coached D.

Yes but we haven't had a decent QB in 20 years and we now do. I don't look at TVD's last year results. I know what I saw with Lash here and I think Dawson can bring out that TVD. The reports so far is he's been very good and accurate. JB and Emory seem to be picking up the offense which is great news.

The run game will be a pleasant surprise due to a much improved Oline and a healthy Don who has all star potential. Throw in Parish and the 2 Freshman and I like our stable. If Citizen can come back soon it makes it really good.

TE room loaded

WR room just needs a 1A. I hope we find one in the portal after spring.

The D I also feel better about because we finally have LB's and we won't have Ivey out there.

We need another DT or 2 IMO.

Another corner would be nice. (I'm still worried about this group)

Kaaya was decent, I think Clemson broke him in 2015.

Anytime you start talking about needing DT’s & DB’s you’re in trouble imo.
