Official TVD comments on Hard Rock

If you win, they will come. If you lose with zero touchdowns in front of a national prime time audience....ooofffff, we may hear TVD's farts on Saturday from the upper deck.
A&M just had one of their highest crowds ever a week after their worst loss.

This “win and they will come” is just a way to say our fan base sucks. It does.

The Dolphins got more fans while going 1-15. It is what it is.

I agree with TVD, it’s much more fun going to road games. Try it and compare

Dear Mr. QB van Dyke.

Shut your f*cking mouth and learn the phone numbers of your WR’s. Also, looking off the WR you’ve LOCK ON TO for the past 4 plays, would help the WR, as slow and inept as he might be to actually get a little more open against a secondary that was operating with volunteers from the WVU school of Architecture. And you still couldn’t score.

Until then, **** off and shut your mouth. Here’s what matters: Wins.

That is all.

Have a great day everyb
If Dorsey lived in this era, yes, 100%. There's a clip on twitter right now of him saying yesterday "I hope I'm not a psychopath". Dorsey shouldn't be held accountable for anyone cutting up and splicing together his words, neither should TVD.

The article and the video are disingenuous, as TVD said, "I love playing away" because "I love silencing the crowd" which was conflated with a separate quote saying (correctly) Miami isn't a college town.

If he was coming off a 300 yard, 3 TD game then no one would be talking about this. It's weird that UM fans are going "aw man you done stepped in it now young buck" when someone else literally edited his words together to mean something he didn't actually say. What the heck is going on?
FSU alum who did that making our fan base look like idiots.

While I'd still disagree about Dorsey stepping in it if he played today, I obviously agree about that article being pure clickbait and that clip wasn't doctored but it was conveniently cut at the moment TVD explains actually WHY he likes road games (silencing the crowd/haters).

I've repeatedly said this isn't a big deal but still will stick with he should know better not to needlessly open doors for certain bs- which he absolutely did do in referencing student turnout and stadium distance. He HAS to know that crap is one of the chief (albeit lame) narratives to negative recruit against us and the "star" QB on any Miami team shouldn't even accidentally give fuel to that crap fire.

I really don't think Miami people are piling on him or anything- it's more just us arguing amongst ourselves about the merits of what he blurted out. I do think it would be the same conversation disirregardless of if we won on Saturday and he balled out because the national media and our haters would've run with it anyway.

Tvd getting weirder and weirder honestly. You know how many kids have played for Miami in the last decade and “openly” made comments like that ? Literally none except him. They may think it but they wouldn’t go out publicly and say that. That’s pretty crazy. He needs to get it together

I mean if he did say the fan base sucks it’s true, when players suck we call them out, so if the fans suck the players have every right to call them out.

If you ever go to Dolphin games, almost half of the fans are there cheering for the other team. They aren't there to see the Dolphins. Of course we had people posting here last week that how many people were in the stands didn't make a difference. LOL

I would like to see a smaller stadium built close enough to Miami’s economically disadvantaged communities in and around Dade, so that those folks have a better opportunity to go to games at any time. Whatever tickets left unsold, will go to those folks who may not ordinarily be able to afford it, and at a significant discount. Some of the kids growing up there, the highlight of their young life may be memories of going to a Canes game with friends, dreaming about being good enough to one day play there. Like the LA Coliseum, which is right in the middle of that kind of area.

Hardrock is in the middle of nowhere. What valuable community ties can be established, where you may be able to create a dedicated fan base who may not have a lot of options to do much else?

Lol he did lie for our sake! He said its a 25 minute drive and that is definitely impossible on gamedays lol

Takes longer than that. The other self-own is what it says in the rest of the article about his play home versus away:

"How does Tyler Van Dyke actually play at Home vs on the Road?

ESPN has a pretty good split breakdown of Miami Hurricanes QB Tyler Van Dyke’s performance at home versus on the road. In the 2021 season, Tyler’s rating was significantly better at home vs away, 189.3 vs. 137.6.

His completing percentage at home was 64.5 compared to 60.7 on the road. Van Dyke threw for 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions at the Hard Rock Stadium and 11 touchdowns + 6 INTs on the road. 3 of Miami’s 4 losses in 2021 were on the road in 2021. Tyler was 2-3 on the road in 2021.

He clearly performs better at home, so it’s interesting to hear that he prefers to play on the road."
I get the preference.
it’s cool to have the home crowd behind you.
It’s even better to shut the away crowd up.

As far a “college atmosphere” goes, 35k students were at Kyle on Saturday.
That’s roughly half of their student pop.

CIS Spring 22:
- SAVAGE coaching staff
- QB1 Heisman LOCK
- WE 'FƏKING, WE 'FƏKING!

CIS after S1G3:
- CORCHING staff, people warned us but nooooooo, we never listen
- QB1 is a fraud, bench his ***, he is hitting the portal!
- WE GETTING 'FEKED, WE GETTING 'FƏKED DIRTY
- Fold the program
This is the Miami fan base in a nutshell!!!!! Drives me crazy every year!!!! Let the season play out before we decide to say everything and everyone is ****!

sure.

if youre a teacher and your entire class fails doing the same things wrong, maybe its not all on your students but on you as a teacher. same philosophy here. gattis has stunk as a teacher so far bc whatever hes doing with them isnt translating into actual results. the people that have watched practices have said this is the same **** they saw back then in spring.
Except they haven’t. Why are you making that up? They’ve said they didn’t like the scheme and thought it would be an issue. Scheme has nothing to do with these mongoloids not reaching out to their QB to build chemistry or putting in work on your hands but here you are blaming a guy that called enough plays to win vs. TAMU instead of the dudes that missed their blocks and dropped passes. You know? The **** Gattis can’t control?

Riddle me this Einstein, How come Michigan didn’t ever have a catching or blocking issue on the outside but we do? Maybe it has to do with some players giving a **** and others not giving a ****.

hes their position coach. they've had issues since spring. ask anyone who watched the spring practices. you can go back and find all the spring write ups on this website. this isnt a oh this is new issue. gattis been here since feb. he went through all of spring camp and fall with these guys.

actually go back and read up on Michigan from their board - they're happy gattis is gone and they did complain about their WRs.

somehow players blocked last year but this year all these guys (all of them) can't even remotely block? if I replace WR coaches, you dont think that guy can get them to block?

again, its on the teacher bc hes responsible for the entire room.

you all blamed Manny correctly for poor LB play. we got a better coach in here training the LBs and now suddenly they made a HUGE improvement and they're less talented than the WR room is

Did anybody else actually watch the video?? He didn’t say anything that bad and it’s the same thing 95% of the fan base has been repeating over and over since we started playing in Hard Rock.
but still you as he leader and the qb for the program you should not come out and publicly say anything . you have to keep this reality chit to yourself because now every media and social outlet is picking up on it and make it a thing. He juts gave them fuel

What the **** are you even talking about? WR was just as big as a problem last year. That’s why we had to get Rambo. None of these ****ers even saw the field other than Key.
