Official TVD comments on Hard Rock

Do you have evidence that supports your claims? I'd love us to have a stadium there, but the traffic there sucks already and a lot of people live there who I doubt want that unless they're hurricanes fans. It would affect these people's lives so until I see a petition form or significant polling numbers idk if they can get the public support needed as much as I'd like it to

The other guys who are supposedly doing the NIL stuff though who come from a background of political fundraising know how to get support for these kinds of things with ad campaigns and shi so if Ruiz is talking to them I'm sure we'll have a punchers chance
👆Who is going to tell him I was being sarcastic?

A smaller stadium gives the less attended games a fuller feel though. It blows being in a huge stadium when its hardly full.
lol we reduced capacity. the stadium is about the same size capacity as the new proposed site lol

Think CJ would drop back into the college game, at The U? Co-OC/WR? Lotsa $$$?

Or does he just love Lousiana and New Orleans that much…
He does Love Louisiana...was HC at Tulane for some yrs...but to atleast add him in any shape or form too UMs staff would be amazing....even in a consulting role.

How about the WRs hit the juggs machine…
sure.

if youre a teacher and your entire class fails doing the same things wrong, maybe its not all on your students but on you as a teacher. same philosophy here. gattis has stunk as a teacher so far bc whatever hes doing with them isnt translating into actual results. the people that have watched practices have said this is the same **** they saw back then in spring.

Revelation of the century: big state schools have a ton of students, a ton of alums who choose to go to one game a year, and are geographically closer to away fanbases who can attend.

We are supported by local people (alums and non-alums), don't have a ton of alums who go to one game a year, and are geographically far away from everyone.

Do I get a 5th Ph. D. in Science?????

Yes you can.

Just post this once a week for the next 10 years and hopefully a few folks will eventually catch on.

I still don't understand why we as a fan base are either bitter or in denial about our reality.

UM Football is a unique thing. Why not embrace it?

1) As others pointed out, if you watch the video he says that he likes to quiet the other team's crowd

2) He is not breaking news to anyone. Anyone that pays any attention to Miami football at all knows that for most games the stadium is not very full
Exactly. People just like to manufacture drama.

That's not entirely true....I had season tickets in the 80s...sure there were some 30-40 thousand fans for nobodys....but there was huge fan support for meaningful games....UF...FSU...ND...Penn St....etc....
That was maybe 2 games a year. The rest of the games were around 35,000-40,000, some a little bit less, some a little bit more. There are always a couple of big games a year fans show up to. But that’s it.

Foolish talk... even if every enrolled student attended every game, that would be a total 12K per game.... Miami always drew from local 3 county population.... not students.

We don't have attendance because of the bumbling administration and the cheapo cr@p they put on the field for the last 2 decades...
Win and HR will be rocking

"We don't have attendance because of the bumbling administration and the cheapo cr@p they put on the field for the last 2 decades..."

The administration is absolutely accountable for their part in that....but that is an incredible pass that you are giving to the fan base for their part. Even when we had the best college football team ever assembled our attendance was ****.
This fan base hold everyone accountable except themselves...and that's why we have recruiting visits with embarrassing attendance.

You don’t have to go that far back. Forgetting the last five or so years where the Orange Bowl was half empty for every non fsu game, they would play in front of 35,000 people in the early 2000’s if it was a game against a nobody team. I don’t think Miami’s ever had a season where every home game had more than 45,000 people in attendance.

45K in Hard Rock sounds like 65K because of the roof.... been there numerous times

Here is what he said,

“I like away games better. We don’t really have much of a college atmosphere ’cause we play at Hard Rock. So we’re 25 minutes away from campus. So a lot of students don’t go up to most of the games, unless it’s a big game. That’s why I like going to away stadiums and seeing that college atmosphere, playing there, and making the crowd quiet.”

He said the quiet part out loud which hurts recruiting, but he also lied about the stadium only being 25 mins lol. On game day that shi is closer to an hour :p:ROFLMAO:
But that is NOT ALL of what he said ... he also made the comments I quoted ... about liking the ability to shut down the home crowd in away games.
