How about the WRs hit the juggs machine…
Tell Mario to give CJ a call....

You just don't know what you are talking about.

Coral Gables/Tropical Park 1000% has the infrstructure and community support to make either of those locations happen.
Do you have evidence that supports your claims? I'd love us to have a stadium there, but the traffic there sucks already and a lot of people live there who I doubt want that unless they're hurricanes fans. It would affect these people's lives so until I see a petition form or significant polling numbers idk if they can get the public support needed as much as I'd like it to

The other guys who are supposedly doing the NIL stuff though who come from a background of political fundraising know how to get support for these kinds of things with ad campaigns and shi so if Ruiz is talking to them I'm sure we'll have a punchers chance

QBs like the challenge of playing away. No secret that Hard Rock is not on campus of a state school. Shocking.

Good thing we were playing an away game last week or we might have scored even less.

I mean it’s a school with 11,000 undergrads and only a third of them give a crap about football. You can build whatever stadium wherever you want and you’ll never get a college atmosphere. Anyone who believes otherwise has never been to a college football game at a big university. A&M had 37,000 students in their crowd Saturday. UM has 37,000 total fans.

"Miami plays in a half-full NFL stadium"

"There is no college atmosphere at the games"

"Other schools have way more fans"

Confused Trevor Jackson GIF by grown-ish
Revelation of the century: big state schools have a ton of students, a ton of alums who choose to go to one game a year, and are geographically closer to away fanbases who can attend.

We are supported by local people (alums and non-alums), don't have a ton of alums who go to one game a year, and are geographically far away from everyone.

Do I get a 5th Ph. D. in Science?????

Money is no object!

And…I do think Miami needs a dedicated WR coach. Not sure who gets cut to stay at 10…

Hey, get Reggie or Dre to take an assistant off-the-field role like Jason Taylor. #kidding
Man look, CJ was, and still is the man. He absolutely KILLED it in recruiting (not just WRs) from 95-2005....especially 95-2000.
Look at the list of AAs and outstanding WRs he put into the NFL during his time at UM...and 2 (Wayne & Dre) are NFL HOF bound...with Santana having better NFL Stats than some already in.

Curtis Johnson was our key to recruiting Louisiana. Butch got gems out of Texas. Chuck Pagano could recruit anywhere.

The fact that he should know better about what and what not to say publicly is all that really matters here.

Intent and everything else we're debating here is just noise and not relevant to the present.

Just shows that we probably overestimated his mental maturity or underestimated his aloofness slightly and that the kid has work to do on multiple fronts of his development.

Absolutely not a huge deal but definitely a sign.

And maybe the Ruiz Family been in his ears too much? Seems like something they would say to promote TP

Think CJ would drop back into the college game, at The U? Co-OC/WR? Lotsa $$$?

Or does he just love Lousiana and New Orleans that much…

You all must not remember canes games in the 80’s. Even when the canes were winning NCs they couldn’t draw fans to most games. They routinely played games in front of 30 to 40,000 fans at the orange bowl.
That's not entirely true....I had season tickets in the 80s...sure there were some 30-40 thousand fans for nobodys....but there was huge fan support for meaningful games....UF...FSU...ND...Penn St....etc....

You don’t have to go that far back. Forgetting the last five or so years where the Orange Bowl was half empty for every non fsu game, they would play in front of 35,000 people in the early 2000’s if it was a game against a nobody team. I don’t think Miami’s ever had a season where every home game had more than 45,000 people in attendance.
