Fans can be so disgustingly cruel and ignorant--these players and coaches live in a pressure cooker of constant criticism and scrutiny. It's not wonder there are very few that can actually "tune out the noise" and fulfill their potential. I almost wonder if things were like they were now in the 80s-early 2000s--with the media cycle, social media, fan forums, etc.--if we would have achieved half as much in a global city like Miami, that is always in the limelight and under a microscope.

Yup, they sure do. It is hard to regain momentum and the swaggering fearlessness that you need to be great after a serious injury.

Even as an amateur athlete (who plays at a reasonably high level for fun competiton and exercise), it took me a couple of years to recover (not fully) from a torn hamstring and fractured foot for instance.
 
Tough spot for a dad, I get it.

But what a douchey, highbrow term in libelous.

No offense to those who thrive as I’m blessed beyond what I deserve. But ultra sensitive implications with a hint or more of legal speak shows what a ***** he is.

I saw the original. Some toolbag claimed TVD was arrested for throwing games, really stupid IMO, dad posted that.
As a father I get it.

In my opinion TVD and Beck are what they are, one read QBs who don’t read defenses well and are prone to INTs when the first read isn’t there. What we saw from Cam is what this offense can look like with an Elite QB in command..two completely different tiers of QBs..Dawsons biggest indictment is his inability to adjust his offense around a Mid/turnover prone QB which is where Lashlee excelled at drawing and setting up plays where his QBs can make easy reads/decisions.

Some fans are low brow if not straight out trash. But most disliked TVD less because of his interceptions and more because of his holding the team over a barrel with Alabama and total lack of leadership as the team's starting QB.

Kid still has eligibility. Maybe he has all the talent in the world, and it was injury, Gattis and Dawson that caused his woes. Maybe Lashlee can scheme around his field awareness issues and turn him into something. I'm not sure excuse making by his pops is a good look at the moment, though.

I get it - I have kids - but he’s asking for aggravation reading and commenting on a rabid fan message board. I’m fairly certain I reached out to him at some point and recommended that he stay off of here. Not because I’m mean but because he’s going to be subjected to the criticism his kid gets, he couldn’t handle it and I wasn’t stopping it for his sake. That’s not how this works. And by the way, I couldn’t handle it either, but I wouldn’t subject myself to this. Now some people just say mean **** that’s unnecessary because they’re ******** and if it’s beyond what’s normal here we might - might - cut that off - but that’s rare that we would do that.
