A large enough portion of CIS uses there work computer to browse for some dumb ****** reason. How about we just stop censoring images that you could play on basic cable?
And you think some minor sexual content is what would be the thing that gets them in trouble? Nah, that's a bad excuse.A large enough portion of CIS uses there work computer to browse for some dumb ****** reason.
Gotcha lolClick the last 3 dots and then []
Don't think that's what was announced by staff. And you think some minor sexual content is what would be the thing that gets them in trouble? Nah, that's a bad excuse.
They are wrong and this place is suffering for it.Don't think that's what was announced by staff.
Those 11 seconds are an eternity when it comes to measuring engagement. The 10 seconds will limit the supply all while the 1 second limits the exposure, or demand. We've all seen that content and engagement fall by 90%+ since this rule change.10 seconds to put an image behind a simple spoiler tag, one extra mouse click to view it...
Censorship? Meh, more like a small exercise in consideration for your fellow CIS board members who may view the site at work, around kids, or just don't like what you do (lord knows I have often wished the P-man would throw a spoiler on some of his bigguns).
@Andrew this is Exhibit A of why we need a facepalm reaction. Would up content and engagement 91%+.Those 11 seconds are an eternity when it comes to measuring engagement. The impetus behind the decision must be financial, maybe related to ads, as its otherwise a bad one for community engagement.
A typical vapid response.A typically lame reaction.
More deflection from discussing a transparently bad decision for the community. Sad.A typical vapid response.
