Turnover chain now a beer...

I saw that earlier today. J. Wakefield is the best brewery in Miami and one of the best in Florida. Props to them for showing some love to the Hurricanes. Worth the trip to Wynwood for some great beers.

Graduated from UM with one of their brewmasters. The King of Allapattah is a season ticket holder.

Goes great with sushi.

Condolences to the uncultured swine that eschew the IPA. Your lack of judgement will be noted for further food/beverage/life discussion on these here forums.

Love IPAs. Get your taste buds up, boys.

Haha. So you dislike the taste of real beer and require a horrible aftertaste to make it drinkable.

I'm just joking here as beer/alcohol taste is as subjective as music taste but the IPA apologists do tend to come off as more strident than the IPA haters, imo.

I'm not an IPA guy but I like good beer. Belgians, Hefenweizens, Sours, Porters, Stouts, Goses, just not IPAs. Although I drink Bud Light mostly at Hurricanes games since it's most readily available and I don't like waiting in the line at the terribly understaffed craft beer bar.

I'll take the ribbing. There are lots of IPA lovers with oiled up beards and moleskin notebooks out there. Looking down their hop-loving noses at you tile-tongued ingrates. That said, describing an IPA as something unlike "real beer" is funny.

Do you drink whiskey, Tad? If so, what kind?

Gotta love the beer snobs.

I spent so many of my formative years guzzling whatever was on keg, or whatever I could afford at the time, it all seems funny to me now.

Not that I’m criticizing anybody’s particular taste in beers, I just never jumped on that bandwagon. I wouldn’t know what to criticize actually. I do enjoy beer still, I’m just not that picky.

I also find that commercial with Machete hilarious

People eschew the IPA because it tastes like ****.

Short brew times, easy to produce...brewers have convinced people that you can't be a craft beer fan unless you like to choke down the overly hoppy, biggest joke in "craft" brewing - the IPA. It's a **** beer brewed by every brewer on the planet in 15 different varieties for a reason - it's cheap, easy, and fools are convinced that it's the holy grail of beers. IPAs in winter? Why not!? Forget beers that actually take skill to brew...let's make up some bull**** winter IPA.

Sorry. Eschewing the IPA is real culture. Try again. Go Canes.
