13 13 game.

45 seconds left till half.

Numbnutz tries to run the clock out. We get a penalty and are forced to throw the ball. VT jumps off, free play and we are in their half. We attack and score a td. We donked our way into the zone. Aggressive play calling worked.

This idiot was ready to close out the half with puzzy *** ship.

Coley will be taken to the woodshed, for being aggressive.

Seriously, the epitome of Golden. Constantly trying to hold back our superior athletes. Moron got lucky.

That offsides was absolutely the turning point in this game. Al was doing his best puzzified run-down-the clock impression until VT and Brad bailed his *** out. That touchdown changed everything about the game, like VT going for it later and not taking the 3 points.

I thought the series started with like 58 seconds left. Al runs the ball...If not for Kayaa..

Quote from the game thread, "Va Tech saved al golden from al golden on that drive."

What's worse is you'd expect them to learn from this. But these fools see this level of agressivity as an aberration.

Yea he really did try to run the clock with 3 timeouts and a whole minute in a collegiate game, coley put him in check

That was it.

I still can't believe that decision. Not only do you have a great quarterback, but you have a kicker with the leg to make 50+ yard kicks. Why not give him a chance?

TV announcer said that at the start of the drive fans were booing. Our idiot coach need dumb luck and the shaming of the fans to get aggressive and get a touchdown. Just like I thought last week was a "good" loss (no need for anymore negative comments), I think yesterday was a bad win. Not because of anything the kids did, but because our coaching staff absolutely blows.

All hail the conquering Golden, conqueror of really bad teams.

That decision was truly baffling. Did someone ask him about it in the post-game presser?

It was Wannstedt 2.0 - play not to lose; as opposed to play to win.

Along with his stubbornness to go down w/ his BFF as DC, this play not to lose mentality will be what I remember most about Golden's regime.

There was no doubt when we got the ball before half time that Golden was going to have them try to run out the clock.

Vag Tech started with the ball in 2nd half too, right? Why try to run in tied, so they can take the lead right away in the 2nd half? The more I think about this, the angrier I become.

Turning point had to be when Kaaya looked at the clock and saw 2 seconds left in the second half..Until then things were still doubtful..
