The curious question is that a load of teams have moved away from their native indian names, yet FSU seem to have doubled down on it.

The fact that the Gayta have already scored 14 points against the Holes with a myriad of injuries and a depleted WR core makes it even more glaring as to how awful our offense has really been this season.

They’re moving the ball up and down the field with little resistance. Zero excuses for playing like **** this season.

What makes me jealous is we have one of the least mobile qbs I have ever seen. It matters a lot. I see these qbs mobility show up time and time again leading to points.

I don’t think it’s that far off
talent wise after next years class there will be a big gap in raw talent between us and fsu/Florida
The question is will he have a coaching staff that will maximize that talent?

They also have a dude who is likely a round 2-3 draft pick on the OL, while ours has been the worst in CFB 7 years running.

It can matter, yes. It's not the be-all and end-all, it just makes play calling easier for the OC and defending a little harder. At the end of the day though you still want a QB than can make his reads and hit his throws - Tom Brady doesn't have 17 SB rings for nothing.

I have no idea why Mario didn't fire Gattis after that FSU game and promote Ponce. The way he handled the QB's in that game displayed a high level of incompetence.
