Tulane QB Darian Mensah enters the Portal

Arnold is my QB1 in the portal so I get it. I’m also a believer of Miller Moss if he were to come. Dude would get 3500 yards and a ton of TDs in this offense with Miamis oline. Especially if it’s a package deal with Duece Robinson and Zach Branch.

I'm not too familiar with Moss. I watched the LSU game to start the year, which he was impressive in, and parts of the PSU game, which he was less impressive in. Does he have the arm talent to drive the ball down the field? In most of his games this year his long completion was only 20-35 yards.

We should be a strong running team again next year. If one of the 33 centers we've offered has the quickness to get out and block on the tunnel screens Dawson loves, we'll be able to add that QB-friendly dimension back into our offense. Get a WR or two in the portal and hope JoJo, Carr, and Co develop, and I don't think next year's QB has to be Superman for us to be successful.

My gut says we have a pretty good idea who our portal QB is going to be already. Been way to quiet. While Mensah wouldn't be my first or second choice, if we had no idea who our portal QB was going to be I feel like we'd have contacted him at least. Murphy smoke sounds like bull****.

“You don’t buy it.” So what? It’s a statement made by his agent. Whether you buy it or not…makes no difference.

I love DMoney, but if the kid’s agent tells DMoney that Miami isn’t recruiting him, I’d expect DMoney to report it, even if it goes against something he said earlier.

Now, if you want to fight with Mensah’s agent, who says that Miami isn’t recruiting not recruiting Mensah, then knock yourself out.

But stop crapping on Miami fans who read all the posts.
 
Just wanna put out there that Beck is dating one of the cavander Twins and if this backup ends up proving himself….just saying IF any of the play off teams were to lose QBs he’d be it and he’d make sense for Miami

I may get roasted for thinking that as we really haven't seen enough of Emory. I acknowledge that I'm probably wrong here but I'm just not convinced the Weigman, Moss, Maalik's of the world are significantly better than Emory. That's more an indictment on the overall talent pool in the QB portal as opposed to my thoughts on Emory's ceiling.

Emory isnt close to weigman or moss…and im not all that high on those two
