Trump on Mike Leach

Leach will win at Miami. Winning brings recruits. The best thing to do when hiring someone is to get the smartest people you can. Leach is always the smartest guy in the room. UM needs an ******* who won’t put up with crap but whose also smart enough to game plan opponents.

While I agree in principle, the University has it's own standards of representation..and a fat Confederate idiot won't cut it, regardless of his offensive (no pun intended) prowess. Except when it snows I guess
 
Jeez. This post wasn't mean't to start a political debate or to start a conversation about who and who isn't racist. It was meant to show what Coach Leach said about the athletes we have and could get and about turning our program into a winner again which is what I think we all want on this board. The posters who don't think Leach would win here, or do think he would win here, and state legitimate reasons for thinking so are good to hear and what this board is about. But ****ing and moaning about race and TDS are bull****. We all want a winner. How we get there is open for debate.

k9 you been around long time bro, you want Miami great again ? Then call on the guy who made it great, its a simple fix, and Jimmy comes with it as a consultant for free ? Can't beat that with a stick IMO, these other guys are the unknown, we can't afford to strike out yet again

Only problem I have with Leach is he puts defense waaay down his priority list, when he was here in Texas there was always turmoil, he wanted about 75% of the ships to go to offense, poor DC never had anything to work with. He has not changed much either
