Dominicans are NOT black. They classify themselves as Latino and many dominicans are light skinned. Some are dark skinned, but so are Cubans. Are cubans black?

If you're from the Caribbean 99% of the time you have some African in you. A lot of Dominicans don't want to call themselves black because of old white supremacy views that don't die, but Dominicans are light skinned black for the most part. Cubans can be either or. There are black Cubans, fair skinned Cubans and white Cubans with blond hair and green eyes. My mom's side of the family is very light skinned. My grandmother was one of those blond haired green eyed Cubans. On my dad's side there are one or two distant black cousins

Just because you have a tiny bit of african in you does not mean you can't possibly be racist. This is my point.

So you are a very light skinned cuban who supports trump. That doesn't mean he doesn't like the more dark skinned mexicans and salvadorians. He very well MAY NOT be racist towards them, BUT you liking him and him marrying a Slovenian does not make it impossible.
