Trump destroyed Shalala today haha

A choice between Trump and Clinton is like asking someone if they'd like Golden or Shannon. The answer to both is "Larry Coker". Make America Clappy Again!

Hillary for Prison

Amen.

Trump likes to think "outside the box" in regard to football, which rarely works. With Manziel, he was simply talking about putting asses in the seats with an exciting brand of QB play. He, like a few others, thought that A&M run around **** could work in the NFL...wrong.

As to Leach, they could have only worked with a top dollar DC handling all aspects of that side of the ball. Shalala would never have spent that kind of $$$$...no way.
his best DC was former east Carolina HC Ruffin McNeil, and he wouldn't have been available to be hired at the time

Exactly.

Every time I think politics has hit an all time low , I'm later proven wrong.

It's a complete joke.

I hope he didn't intimate Shalala has a small pin based on her infant-sized hands. She's packing a cagootz. I can assure you of that.

Mike Leach would have done well here. However we'd be a "system" offense and defense would probably be similar to statistics No'D put up. Would always be a "threat" but never win any NCs with Leach here.

We are good hands with Richt. The past 10 years have been brutal, but Richt could very well be here until 2026 and beyond.

Mike Leach is an AWFUL coach. He would've been an unmitigated disaster here.

Lindsey Graham hit the nail on the head.

Why would he talk about Miami football when he's a penn alum? I can't figure out how a real estate developer would be considered a football expert either.

Awful coach? So awful that his offensive philosophies have spread throughout the entire Big 12 like wildfire.

Almost every OC or HC in the Big 12 has ties to Mike Leach. They've either been an asst under him, or QB'd for him.
He just went 9-4 (6-3) last season with Washington St, a team that was 1-10 prior to his arrival.

He returns almost everyone this year - keep an eye out on Leach in '16.

/And I didn't even mention his 10 years of success at Texas Tech
//lol @ "awful coach"

He's not an awful coach but probably is a tad overrated.

And we don't know if that's a good thing yet or not. On the surface it appears Richt has us at least heading in the right direction, but haven't we learned our lesson before in regards to crowning coaches before they even coach a game?

Overrated doesn't make sense either. He's the head coach at Washington St.

Maybe you just mean fans give him too much credit? I don't even see that either though. Half of this board thinks he's a bum, and he's never talked about by the media anymore.

He's the definition of underrated imo.

Mike Leach is a one trick pony. He's an innovative offensive mind who's helped turn Hal Mumme's offense into one of the most copied in colelge football. It's great for a program that can't pull in top-level talent but still wants to compete (at least offensively) with the bigger programs. You want to turn your two win team into an eight win team? Mike Leach is your guy. That said, he's had one season with more than nine wins in his career. He's never won any conference title. Despite being a consistent winner in Lubbock, he was never able to recruit top talent to Texas Tech. And even though his quarterbacks and receivers break all kinds of records, they never translate to the NFL. His all time greatest player was Michael Crabtree and he's been a mediocre player in the pros.

Would he have been a better hire than Golden? Sure. Would Miami fans be flying banners after four consecutive 8 win seasons? Probably.

It's on both of them. Shalala gonna Shalala and Leach blew the interview back in the day. Richt can recruit so "the best athletes" will be headed back here soon to play in Richt's offense, which will be fun to watch (for us) and fun to play in, if he really does open it up like the old Charlie Ward days when he was happiest coaching the O. We'll see. I prefer Richt's stability to Leach's somewhat weird loose cannon demeanor.

Nailed it. This should be on his freaking business card:

If Trump wants to have an impact on our football program then he should donate the money for a IDP facility or STFU!!!

How about he target the real issues addressing this economy, infrastructure and educational system. What the **** does Shalala have to do with running this country?
