2026 Tristen "TK5" Keys 5* WR from Hattiesburg, MS commits to LSU

Would be wild. There's legit folks saying no chance at all, some saying it looked promising. I'll wait for a commitment.

I’m in Hattiesburg for the baseball regionals and I’ve asked countless people here, some who personally know him and most say he will stick with LSU but it’s a long way to signing day, so we’ll see

@DMoney in the June 2, 2025 Bank

Top-ranked WR Tristen Keys (Hattiesburg, MS) made his third visit to Miami and continues to express significant interest. This weekend was positive. He's an Adidas athlete, he's intrigued by Miami's offensive success, and he really likes the city of Miami. He also spent a lot of time with the Canes' current WR room. This one will be a process but the Canes have a lot going for them in this recruitment.

Maaaaaannnnnn .... Just saw this ... @CANESCANES you are too fast

Quick look at schools getting an official visit (per 247):

Nike: LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Bama, FSU (uhhh, never mind)

Under Armour: Auburn

Adidas: MIAMI

Side note: Lots of LSU (and Bama) fans in the Hub City (Hattiesburg).

Mostly Southern Miss folks who hate Ole Miss and State with every fiber of their being, but it's Mississippi so they still got to have a default SEC team, lol

I use to live in Biloxi/Gulfport and developed a healthy hatred for LSU.

Lot of LSU fans (and bandwagon jumpers) up there mixed with the MSU and Ole Miss diehards.

Makes a difference with Baton Rouge being 2 hours closer to the Mississippi Coast than either Starkville or Oxford.

Don't know if you've ever spent any time in Pensacola, but it's kind of split like that with FSU/UF/Bama/Auburn fans and even some from LSU.

A lot of people rolling with whoever's winning

Fixed it for you.

-The Hurricanes had the playmaker on campus this past weekend and they are very much in the mix.

“I like Miami a lot,” Keys told On3. “The coaches are cool and I see a chance to do big things there. It is a great environment there and coach Beard is a great coach. This visit really gave me a lot to think about with Miami.”

-Alabama and Tennessee are still in pursuit too. The SEC programs have not let up and he has official visits locked in with both. He goes to Knoxville on June 13 and to Tuscaloosa on June 17.

“Alabama is coming hard. Coach Shep (JaMarcus Shephard) is a good dude and they produce receivers. Look at what Ryan Williams has done, so I like that a lot.

“Tennessee recruits me the hardest. They are on me every day. Coach Pope and coach Heupel are cool guys. Faizon Brandon is my boy too. Coach Pope is one of my favorite coaches and they have been on me hard for a long time.”

-Texas A&M will be his next stop on June 6.

“Texas A&M never stopped recruiting me. I have great relationships there and coach Wiggins is a great coach who puts guys into the league.”

-A return to Baton Rouge will come later this month. He will be there on June 20 and LSU is not letting up.

“LSU has done a great job staying on me and being consistent,” Keys said. “I wanted to see how they would act after I committed and they have done a great job. They treat me like I am still a top recruit and that is big for me. That is why I am still committed.”

Keys said he continues his to communicate with Ole Miss as well.
