Trevill Holcy Decommits from Miami

Why is our staff the only one that has the miscommunication issues??Other schools just force the kid out, but we are developing the pattern of The Three Stooges!

Honestly we aren't the only ones, we just follow Miami closer then everyone else. Do you think fans of other teams even know this situation happened?

This happens when all the information happens from one point of view (the player) since coaches can not speak about these things to the media.

I agree, think about how many times Nick Saban has probably turned someone down. we just dont see it.

So....if he gets offer from UF or FSU and commits whats the over/under on the amount of pages that thread will produce?

how many "offers" do we have extended out currently??

more than were gonna take in... this **** happens all the ladies in this thread either need to nut up or quit following crootin cause this isnt your lil sons tball league where everyone gets a ribbon for "participating"

The kid handled it really well. Unfortunately, did seem like he was a poor man's Devante Peete. Trying to be positive, hopefully this means the staff is confident that they can get a better tall wide receiver of his ilk (Peete.) to commit and soon.

how do you decommit when you didn't have a "FIRM offer???? totally confused...lol

I am hearing he is a little bit of a head case...

carroll sent out the bat signal didn't he? That would lead me to believe they accepted his commitment - perhaps he went back to the staff to clarify if it was for WR or TE position and didn't get the answer he was looking for? Either that or we feel pretty good about certain guys committing and didn't want to waste the kids time. Weird though.

Carroll never sent out the bat signal for this kid

Sad situation, hope this kid uses this as motivation, I once was in a similar situation and from experience it made me a better player. This very same thing also happened with Mirmar's current RB where he committed to WVU with his teammates Lewis and McFadden and he stated he witnessed the dark side of recruiting when they said his offer was not committable

Carroll didn't send out a bat signal nor did anyone else send one, I don't think his Offer was commitable he probably was a fall back or so, must have thought he was able to commit or who knows might be one of those Fentons situation. Plus no one had any insight on the kid to go along with it

Guys its not always the communication between our staff and the kid. Sometimes its between the kid and his head coach.

Misunderstandings happen. Did the kid even visit? What happened when he called UM to commit? Or did he call? Or did he just announce it on ****er?
