As long as he’s got the feet for it, and is a willing tackler, everything else is teachable

Showed him the article yesterday and it really opened his eyes.
Also used a handful of WR-to-CB transition success stories.

30 minutes later he was voluntarily sitting front row in my defensive meeting.

I think this could change his life if he buys in.

I reference my years of experience as to WHY I think this... (mention similar kids I've coached)
Then I get some of his teammates to encourage him as well.

Half the battle if getting the kid to believe and buy-in.

Easy to talk if u got the gift. U can tell which HCs in cfb have it. They usually have the best classes. It's all about charisma and keeping it a buck.

That’s the part which puzzles me. Hearing we have Harris & Roberts playing primarily safety and we don’t want Fegans at corner sounded like a head scratcher.

I don’t know what the book on him at Alabama is.

I’m sure Miami has more info here than other teams (Alabama and previous recruitment)
