Treon transferring?

Who are you to say that? The kid has the right to pursue whatever he wants. If it is QB, so be it. Plus, how do you know he desires to play in the NFL?

I played college ball with Cats that played in the league, although that was never their goal. Jimmy Graham is the best TE in the NFL. He had no desire to play in the NFL until RS convinced him to play TE at the U after his BBall eligibility expired.


With proper grooming, Treon will be fine at QB.

They can't stop him from transferring to UM. His dad works for UM, so maybe he doesn't need the FB scholarship the first year.

hard pressed to imagine them preventing him transferring here but why would he transfer. he doesn't fit our system and if anything he would go somewhere he can play QB after getting a taste.

I doubt that he is transferring anywhere.
 
If the reason he would be transferring is because he cant play qb then he wont come to Miami. He would be a WR or DB here or he can give qb a try at UF and if it doesnt work be a WR/DB there

I believe the rule is as long as the parent is on staff for 2 or more years the child can attend free and not count against football scholarships. I am pretty sure that whats I read when everyone was questioning Swasey being on the team.
 
He has no shot at being a NFL starting qb . He should just follow his brothers footsteps and play db
 
Where has this rumor come from? The kid brought new life to UF's offense and were hitting on deep balls throughout the year... If Robinson didn't drop that catch they may have beat FSU. He threw 3 picks but UF hasn't had a good offense since 09... Even during their 11 win season in 2012, they sucked on offense and depended on their running back in Gilispie and tightend in Reed... They don't even have players on those guys level and for Treon to bring a spark to that team was incredible... He's obviously the best qb (as well as smartest) on that roster. Why would he transfer? UF needs some running backs and wide receivers. I mean Grier isn't obviously ready(Treon beat him coming in a few weeks before the semester started) and Driskel isn't a qb. There is a good chance he'll be a starter next year...

Forget the NFL. There are prototypical pocket passers who put up good stats and don't make the league. You can't make the league if you don't produce. The kid is a good qb. Just need an OC and some skill players.
 
I was not a fan of him as a college QB. Had no problem with Alverage not offering him.

Still have no interest in him as a QB at UM.


South Florida kid - so I'll always root for him, but I don't think all that highly of him as a QB.
 
I'd take him in a heart beat just no need for him at QB if that is what he wants. Be a safety though
