man i said move trent to lb when kirby went down and people thought i was crazy.

Trent Harris may have found his true position against Duke. He looked comfortable at LB and made plays.

He is a good all-around football player who lacks the length and twitch to be a big-time pass rusher. Linebacker fits his physical profile.

honestly he is one of the best pass rushers we have. Remember before he got here he was known as a pass rushing specialist. Regardless he can play. One guy you have to talk about is Juwon young. That kid can be a monster. In terms of hitting power and speed we haven't seen at linebacker at Miami like him in years

Have you already forgotten Denzel? Even though they went typically overboard in bulking him up, he still was a stud lb -- powerful and explosive.

We need a serious infusion of talent and numbers at CB ASAP. Assuming Burns and Elder leave, there is a huge opportunity for incoming freshmen or Jucos.

What about Quarterman, McCloud and Pinkney... They will all be here spring 2016... knowing all three they all want to play... it going to be interesting.

I've noticed D Money posts a lot more these days. A substantial increase.

The Cloud is gone.

Nothing against them but I think the freshman coming in are beast and will come in at the least take their spot. Smith knows how to rush the passer, maybe he can become a Marcus Robinson type of player that played when Shannon was here

AG thought that Trent had great length.

Yeah, but what was Al measuring?

The punchline was already assumed. This aint TreOFive's first post.

I know, but we will have to stop picking Al eventually so I didn't want to miss a chance.

Artie and AQM come back?

Grace would be the perfect Hybrid LB/Nick... in the 4-2 Star... Jamal Carter could also play the Star... Mike Pinkney could play the Start

Star: Mike: Will: (Mike and Will in the Box... Star Appexed to the strength)
---- ----- ----
Grace Young Harris
Carter (obvious passing down) Gordinier Perry

Spring... add the Fresh Meat to the Mix:
Pinkney Quarterman McCloud

When Owens get back... he could play any one of them... maybe has gotten a bit to big to play Star/maybe more like an edge rusher now... I think his weight gain was to rapid..(Bet he gained 15 lbs and loss 2% body fat..#adonis ) his knees wasn't ready for the added weight... but he will be a beast.. I've seen glimpses of his potential..... Shaq and Zach have the natural bodies for inside the box... they both have to watch their weight and both will come on campus in about 60 days at 240 on diets... Zach 6'2 and Shaq about 6'1. Mike will come on campus running a low 4.6 forty a little under 220.. all three will compete from day one and push who ever is front of them.

They have the potential to recreate the Bermuda Triangle if they stay healthy and the right coach deploys them correctly. Love all 3.

I hope we start deploying a rover "Star" type or whatever you want to call it. Every year we get kids that fit that mold. Grace...Perry...Gayot...etc.

Sooooo we gonna act like He didnt run a 5.15 40 in the fall? He is a 4-3 D-end all the way..and he ran a 4.96 before he gained the weight... Way too slow for any kind of linebacker

On the positive side of the 5.09 forty..... that's faster than Tom Brady...

he has the second most sacks on the defense. He needs to stay at De.

CB depth is scary. Especially considering Burns is most likely gone after this year. Elder could be but I don't think he leaves.

Jackson and Redwine need to get ready quick. Possibly Byrd can compete for a starting spot when/if he arrives.

I noticed DJax got a LOT of playing time. Has he played meaningful snaps this year? Looks like he's out of the Alf Doghouse

Can't wait for those guys to get here. Add in Steed, Kearney, and Dunning in 2017 and that is a legit LB unit.
