I've come to respect your bleakness, sir. You seem to have a handle on things, and I think UM was wise to this kid's academic shortcomings. The defensive scheme, the AG to PSU business, could have been factors, or just excuses and red herrings.

Things just seem to be getting so bad with sports, recruiting, academics, etc. It's just sad, and a real mess.

Yup pretty much he did not make it in. If he is enrolled at any time this semester. We will def know LSU is shady

Before he leaves he'll be dominant just like he would have been had he come to UM. Lots of head cases in college and professional athletics.

TV is a head case. He maybe good at LSU or he's going to flame out quick... 50/50 on that guy.

And the last twenty years are littered with the names of can't miss superstars coming out of HS who did flame out, often because they couldn't make it academically. I can't remember all the names, but there were plenty. Others flamed out for a variety of reasons.

Ryan Perilloux is one name that comes to mind. Not saying TV is the same kind of character case, but there's never a guarantee. When I saw TV's video, he looked awesome, but he looked like he was playing cub scouts.

Willing to bet the odds of flaming out are greater with kids given a road map to get into UM but choose the easier way out and the easier school. iirc there was some NJ DT years ago who did this. He was a very highly regarded kid (last name Robinson?) who flamed out.

You must be reading another calendar. According to LSU academic calendar, he has until next Thursday (9/4) to add classes.

Reading the LSU fan site, some one mentioned that TV is already on campus and is ok'd to practice but not play pending additional high school papers. Supposedly the SEC flap was an internal LSU paper work issue and not because of another school.

Oh really? And you know this how? Somehow, your 11 posts and your name suggest you probably know next to nothing about UM football. As I've said on this board many times, I had heard months ago that it was not certain that he could get into the U, and that he had some requirements that he had to meet to get in.

Your use of the colloquial "y'all," only used in the deep south suggests you are not one of us, and know next to nothing about UM football or the university. I have seen many players over the years that ended up going somewhere other than UM because they could not meet UM's requirements.

Genron himself posted on this site last year that "he had to take a Spanish class in the summer to be admitted to UM". Apparently he wasn't interested in doing that.
