Transfer Portal watch

He’s very fluid and is a good receiver out of the backfield. He adds depth to a room that needed it badly. Perfect pickup.

How does this affect Brashard? I know, without OC who knows, but previous regime was trying to work him in a Harvin-type role. Seems Smith MIGHT have had a niche for that receiving back/slot/fly sweep role. Let 'em compete, just seems Smith will now focus more on slot?

****’s frustrating man, if we land 1 CB, 1DT, 1DE, 1LB, 1OG and 1RT who are impact guys from the portal, we should be favored to win the ACC and make the playoffs.

It was there for the taking. If we had landed the Oregon DT, Verse, DJ James, and the two OL we’re after plus one elite LB that would be enough

SMH we’re whiffing in the portal because we don’t have coordinators, it must be

Spring transfers are the ones who lose jobs in Spring practice at their schools, these are not the impact players we need. Best wave of transfers IMO are the ones in the portal now

Who said that?

Brown maybe, but where is this “Thad is gone” talk coming from?

I said it. :). Brown is likely because he’s limited physically. Nice player but 5th RB on the depth chart is his reality. As for Thad, he’ll be 4th on the depth chart and given his lack of urgency wrt to weight management issues, that generally doesn’t bode well for a guy like that even though he did a nice job of reshaping his body.
