So we ended up the year with 2 freshman starters - I know we have to wait and see but do we have any freshman arms coming in that could start using the eye chart ? Thanks ..

Macchiarola making the jump from Holy Cross to ACC is gonna be a big adjustment. Patriot league is low level D1. I have seen a bunch of HC games in the last few years as my neighbors kid plays there. Hard to watch sometimes. Hope he translates but I would have rather grab a kid who pitched ACC/SEC/BIG’s if we can.

Has the velo and stuff. Southern Miss wasn’t mental. He wasn’t scared. I think he wore down a bit and when you wear down mechanics go. Here is a good piece on him. The jump he made. If he goes 94-97/hard slider and his change that’s frontline stuff.

Glad he is on campus working out. I think he knows just going out and throwing more wasn’t going to help him.

100% could lead the staff. And it seems as if things fall in line how we want, the pieces around him should be very good.

Hey remember. Texas tech has BIG nil. whoever told me they spend big money on baseball. Clearly doesn’t look at reality. They are a joke of all jokes when it comes to baseball NIL. I can careless what they spend in football or softball. They don’t care about baseball anymore

It’s not a lack of it being there. It’s the HC’s aversion to it. Watch what happens when Tadlock gets fired for not buying into it.

If he didn’t have his resume and wasn’t an alum he’d already be gone because of it.

Update. Nothing new. Team has been in contact with 5 Top250 players in portal. After Monday, we will know the fate of our squad. I think Jake Ogden does make his way back for Senior Year. Griffin Hugus will sign but not for outstanding money. Walters, gone. Gavlin,back. Spoke with Evans’ people and i’m about 90% sure he’s back.

Ogden coming back will be massive, Vance Sheehan is struggling massively in the Cape and he’s definitely not on Ogdens level
