What was the highlight of Golden's career besides him getting fired? The Osu win in 2011, Florida in 2013, starting 9-0 in 2013 and getting bent over after the Wake game by FSU, Duke, Va Tech, and Louisville. Obviously it's always nice to beat rivals like Osu and Florida but those two teams ******* sucked.

If he was stubburn or stupid enough to keep that guy around, theres no doubt there were termites in the entire infastructure. That's beside the glaring deficiencies we saw on the field and in recruiting.

I have a lot of respect for guys like Yearby, Chad Thomas, The Duke, Flowers, Tracy Howard, Deon Bush, Denzel Perryman who all decided to stay home and play for that *******. They deserved better.

Embarrassing the commitment from the University was so poor for so long.

Yeah… they (The University) probably thought that they were doing the right things the right way, as we fell farther and farther away from relevance. In reality, they had no clue in wtf they were doing. “Trying” to right the ship by doing everything on the cheap. Can’t find it anywhere but it deserves to be in whatever version of the CIS HOF we have. We signed most of those kids too and we thought we were gonna be back

They signed 482 kids that cycle. Honestly should have went 9-3 that year. ****ed away the game at Virginia and offense was **** against UNC. Morris went out late in the game and Ryan Williams had to try and win it.

At the time, that defensive scheme was his scheme, not just Dorito’s. It’s hilarious to suggest that he was only a DC or whatever away from success.

Should have been canned after FSU in 2014. You can't have that much talent on your roster and finish 6-7. They gave him 2015 as a gift for getting blindsided by the **** that happened in 2011.

Vaughn Telemaque bailed them out after the pick in the endzone. Otherwise it's 14-0 and game over, I mean they lost anyways but could have been worse. Another great Al Golden moment was when he couldn’t figure out what to do against Wake when they were running very wide splits.
