Anyone who has seen any practice video this spring should know not use the "he doesn't fit the system" thing. I've seen Olsen and Williams run more read option than I thought Miami would ever run. We've got jet sweeps going off that action too. I'm not sure if we'll run all that in games considering our current QBs but any recruits out at practice see plenty of spread looks.

Or you could just listen to our offensive coordinator who said as much to Gibson himself. But why go directly to the sources when its so much more fun to read what random people say here?
 
I never thought he was coming here and frankly we're in good shape qb wise. I hope he goes to Auburn. It's a good fit for him and I don't want him going to FSU,LSU,or OSU. Oh and Fla.

He spoke with Cam Newton who is an inspiration to him, and should be. Given his playing style and it's similarity to Newtons and how good Malzhan is with QBs kid would be stupid to go anywhere else other than Baylor.

Not a big deal for us either cause until we run an Auburn/Baylor/Buckeye type offense he wouldnt of been a starting QB here anyway.....I suspect he was never really being recruited as such, this staff wanted to get him and convert him to WR after making it clear he will never be good enough to beat out the dropback guys we play at QB.

Most of those big offers like Bama are on the same plan with this guy, lie to him, bag him up and then slow play him at QB on the bench and hope he moves to WR for PT where he can be one of the best in the country.

If the kid is smart he commits to a spred option team ....early......then builds the class.

And Auburn fits him to a T. Just look what Malzahn did with Nick Marshall... Its OSU or Auburn those systems fit him and they have track records to show him that. Urban with Alex Smith, Braxton Miller, Tebow, Josh Harris, Chris Leak. Malzahn with Cam Newton, Nick Marshall and his offenses at Tulsa...

Good thing is that he is committing early, so he won't be holding the class, staff, and fans hostage. When he "decides" on Auburn or O$U early, our fans can move the fucc along. We're fine @ QB. Would love to pull this kid, but there are other options out there.
 
You know whats crazy? if nobody saw his tweets about Auburn nobody would guess that he even took a visit but now he's an Auburn lock? Can the kid do an interview before we pretend like we know where he's going? Also, who actually thinks its over even when he does decide?

You can spin it, but this is a tough loss.

Coley isn't married to any system, so throw that argument away. Anytime a local kid that is a blue chip player leaves town, it hurts. Especially when you've been on him so for long.

And? He should be getting those local kids. List the misses he has had since 2012 from just MIAMI kids.
