Torrance Gibson pushes back decision again

This is the only qb i want, it figures we wont land him. Maybe if we get wimbush **** grow on me, but TG is a gamechanger withh is legs alone.

Thus the reason he has AU and Malzaan so high on his list. He would succeed there at QB, I feel certain. Pretty difficult for me to see him developing into something less than Nick Marshall. I would love to have him and the "problem" that he is not yet the best arm...with his elusiveness, the upside is pretty stellar.

Don't really care when this future Wide Receiver decides to commit!

Pretty sure we said the same of Bridgewater

Bridgewater was light years ahead of Gibson as a passer going into his Sr year.

Gibson is a pure ATH that likes to play QB.

We also said the same thing about Denard Robinson and he is a WR in the NFL.

Yea but Robinson was a productive qb in the right scheme as well... That being said, the kid can play qb but he needs to go to a spread option team or a triple option team... He could play right away... As a passer he has a ways to go... Treon is a much better passer but he sought out the right system... This is what Gibson has to do first... As of right now, I don't see our offense fitting him... However, he can still play qb... As for wr in the league, he has to make it there first... Sometimes it's takes playing qb in college in order to make it as a wr in the NFL... Ask mediocre to role playing wideouts like Denard, Amanti Edwards, Brad Smith and Randal El... And play makers like Hinds Ward...

Auburn is the best fit.

No GT is... Hahaa
Lol crazy thing is they really are the best fit

he would destroy in that offense

Denard should've went there also. It actually would show Gibson off and make him a TOP pick at wr in the draft but lbh nobody wants to go to GT at all no matter what position

dont they have strict academic requirements?

Win the coastal and go 1 for 2 vs FSu and this kid will be in line at the Schwartz

Canes fans continue to use this excuse.

Florida proved this year it doesn't take a winning record to recruit.

-We have more talent in our backyard than they do.
-We had a better record
-We have a "players coach."

Now lets compare their January/February to ours.

Don't worry, I'll wait.

Yes they do... However, I think this year they are accommodating their admission standards towards student athletes... At one point GT was a pretty talented football factory... Even before CPJ... Joe Hamilton was a beast at qb... However we shut him down in the Gator Bowl in 2000... I believe... I was like 12...

This here has no barring. Coley has told him he will fit the offense around him. Which is the way it should be.

Gibson, not being a good QB seems to be sour grapes, IMO. If the kid had Miami as his front runner he would be Mike Vick, RG3, Cam Newton, Vince Young all rolled into one. But since most feel he goes elsewhere he is better suited for GT's offense. Well his offer list says otherwise.

I know what Coley said but I don't believe him as of now... I think he has great potential as an OC but as of now he hasn't established an identity with our offense or qb as of now... He has a young career and his résumé doesn't show where he adjusted the offense to the qb strengths... He did very little at FIU(lack of talent) and according to many he was basically an under study to Fisher...

I just don't see it as of now... And too be fair, very few coaches are able to that... The only coach I seen do this at a productive level is Meyer... He tailored his offense to the qb strengths... Chris Leak at UF and Omaar Jacobs at Boeling Green were pocket passers. Then he won games with Tebow, Braxton and Alex Smith in the read option...
