I want Zo evaluating talent but I dont think Gino would agree to take him on at this point. I always felt Zo was to make sure a football was on top of the coach. I mean the main thing Gino would have going for him is he is a football guy, he could use some help with the other sports but not football.

I hear ya but I think like many of us have discussed a lot is the AD will focus on other non rev sports etc and let the football ops guy run football.

I dunno I’m just spitballing an idea that maybe Mario does want to work with Zo in some capacity. Until we see the white smoke it’s all just speculation on all of our parts

Being an AD is managing that it… you put people in place that can excute the vision and goal. If you put the right people in place then you get results if you don’t then we’ll take a look at the last 20 years.

If they feel Gino can be a the AD and Zo can run football operations then and Mario comes as HC then why not try it if we get the coach that the majority of us want. They keep their word about increasing the budget…

Not worth it. Hire an experienced AD and hire Lane. Stoops at the worst.

Serious answer he’s not. He’s a hugely successful business man but that doesn’t make him an AD. I can drive cars fast as **** but I’m not racing at indy.

I’m not a don’t include Miami guys guy, but no more first time ad or first time coaches ffs

Hopefully that is the case and the $500k search firm was to save the university face in some weird way...
