I think for the Football side it worked fairly well.

The only reason this sucks to most is cause all these schools acting like their a Saudi Prince and spending money that’s gonna it’s them in the *** 3 years from now of any of these coaches drop 2 and for forbid 3 games.
But if this sht happened 3 years ago here we would be in the playoffs.

Let me ask this question: What if this is the only way Mario has agreed to come here. With people he knows and trusts in place.

Being an AD is managing that it… you put people in place that can excute the vision and goal. If you put the right people in place then you get results if you don’t then we’ll take a look at the last 20 years.

If they feel Gino can be a the AD and Zo can run football operations then and Mario comes as HC then why not try it if we get the coach that the majority of us want. They keep their word about increasing the budget…

the so called covid losses didn't last long for those schools

What if MC doesn't come? You willing to sacrifice the entire athletic department with an unqualified hire?

Do you think a football guy in the AD role wants another football guy between him and the coach?

I want Zo evaluating talent but I dont think Gino would agree to take him on at this point. I always felt Zo was to make sure a football was on top of the coach. I mean the main thing Gino would have going for him is he is a football guy, he could use some help with the other sports but not football.
 
Without a coaching change this is all another poor BS move by the U. Personally i want a thorough house cleaning. Let’s be honest what do any of these kids coming in to the U know about the great Miami teams.……………nothing. So lets begin a new dynasty and forget the past.
