Matt Campbell. He'll come to Thee Gables faster than a NYC minute. hUh. And he'll be a " steal " regarding his salary and all that. Also, akin to small towns Lubbock, Tejas and ISOLATED Pullman, Washington; Ames, Iowa is a VERY DIFFICULT high plains northern enclave to recruit and sign " Four-star/Five-star players.

But this Orange and Green trump card is this; Campbell started a TRUE FRESHMEN, THREE-STAR quarterback when Iowa St.'s season was in a tail spin. And now Iowa St. is on a FIVE GAME winning streak and will possibly finish 8-4. And a true freshmen QB is one reason, among others, because he gave a major SPARK to a pedestrian stumbling offense.

Oh, and one more thing. The kid helped engineer a victory over Top 10 West Virginia last month. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The game was in small town Ames. So what!

Nevertheless, CMR will be in Thee Gables for the next four seasons, so Cane Johnny Rebel good ol' boy will just have to deal with it!!!!:cool:

That be Matt Campbell from Iowa St. And Hueple wouldn't come anywhere near South Florida. Simply because he has a good thing going at Disney World. In other words, Miami is a burning program and he wouldn't want to come into a full throttle holocaust.

If Miami isn't a step up from UCF we are in worse shape than I originally thought.

Believe it or not. Miami is a step down from mighty Central Florida. And last season was just an illusion built on THREE miracle wins. Nothing more, nothing less. Because as Cane fan knows, Miami has a LOSING RECORD against Power 5 schools since the shocker in Thee Steele City. OUCH.

Oh, and one more thing. This is CMR's " third season," and Miami SHOULD NEVER have this type of season. Even the Golden One didn't FLOP in his third season. Yikes.
 
True Mack but the U is still a step up from UCF if by nothing more than the conference we’re affiliated with in the ACC. A storied 5 time national championship program that a sane person could come in and rebuild in the old glory days would have their pick of staying and competing for titles or moving on to greener pastures such as the NFL. So, whomever is brought here we have to ensure that’s their motivation and that they have the necessary skills to accomplish it along with a well thought out plan of execution.

Motivation is the operative word. That's why these up and coming young coaches have a lot to prove and want to win conference championships and possibly a title, or two, at Miami. Unfortunatley, CMR is past his prime and it's time for him to spend more time with his grandchildren. Akin to St. Bowden. Robert just DIDN'T want to look in the mirror and face the " writing on the wall. " And that's going to be CMR's dow fall. HUBRIS! And here I thought CMR reads the WORD and all that.

The energy of those that support Richt on this board is very mild compared to the heightened extreme level of Golden slurping that 99% of this board was on so chill with the theatrics.

Trying to act like the “I hate Richt, I hate this program, ima UGa fan, this program is dead” clowns are more level headed lol hilarious 🤦‍♂️

Everything you have stated an has been successful at and turned around multiple programs.

The Pirate needs to be closer to the Caribbean ...... its fun as **** to imagine what Leach's insane genius could be in Miami.
