Some of you have short memories about NC's problems under Butch. John Blake & his completely unethical recruiting practices (Butch claimed he didn't know), Gio Bernard & company taking gifts, clothes, $$ from agents, trips to Miami for vacations, academic cheating with a tutor who worked for Butch, on and on ad nauseum. UM isn't returning to 5 years of probation. There are some good, younger coaches out there that UM can hire & money will NOT be an issue as by the time this debacle of a coaching staff is shown the door, everyone at UM will be more than ready to move on.

His brand of 3 yds and a cloud of dust with tall white guys isn't going to work here in SFLA.

Tall white guys is what has to use at Stanford. Yet, he wins. Miami offers much more!

Of noes, not probation again!

Back when we shytting up a storm under Coker & Shannon, fans said at least we were doing it the "right way." And we still got clocked with a major scandal - when we sucked.

Enough with this nonsense. Butch ran a good program when he was at Miami. He built the greatest college football team of all time. Davis will lock down South Florida recruiting. When the program starts spewing out first rounders, stud players will flock to Coral Gables again.

I don't give a ***** about North Carolina throwing their football coach under the bus to protect their precious basketball program. I want our football program to be great again.

No successful head coach will come to the U, until the powers to be decide that wining football games is important to the university.

Finding a talented, ambitious coach that wants to win should not be hard. A competent administration that isn't cheap would have no issue getting this fixed.

All lies.

Butch was clean. He was hired at UM to clean up the program, and did - and won - and stocked the pantry.

At UNC, the administration had been providing shortcut classes almost a decade before Butch got there - and BY THE WAY - it wasn't the football team, fully HALF of the students taking these courses weren't even athletes - just regular students!
