Top 5 coaches who would come to Miami

F*** a Top 5. The list should consist of two names: Tom Herman and Butch Davis.

The administration has caused Miami football to freefall from the most dominant, hated program in the country into a complete laughing stock. Open the checkbook, hire a savage, and return to prominence.

The bad news is that when Butch got the job in 90's , nobody else wanted it. For whatever the reasons, Butch was the only taker. The good news is, Butch just happens to be sitting around with nothing to do and can start today IF Blake would make the call. So Butch has to be #1 on list of who would take the job. Greg would probably be #2 . Al needs to be fired as soon as possible for the sake of recruiting class and fan sanity. Everyone else have jobs would probably not be available until end of season. At end of season more might be but so will a ton of other college HC jobs this year. I say can Al NOW and pick Butch or Greg and hope the other comes along. For many reasons, I prefer Butch, if for no other one than Greg was a LB at psu and we have had more than enough of former shower boys. But Greg at DC for rest of season would be better than Mark.
 
Miami has a talented roster, plays in a comically weak conference, and is located in the best talent-producing area in the country.

Finding a talented, ambitious coach that wants to win should not be hard. A competent administration that isn't cheap would have no issue getting this fixed.

Mow down this list. Make em all say no.

I think if they would have a top 5 list it would be:
Butch
Strong
Schiano
Herman
Cristobal

I obviously want butch but any of those coaches would be better than Golden
 
I would love to see what Herman could do with the spread with South florida talent. He would need to bring in a strong defensive coordinator though.

Whether you like it or not Cristobal is going to be on the list...no way he doesnt get consideration from the school

Done with the stubborn coaches, I don't care if schiano coached at Miami, he is stubborn just like golden and i have seen enough of him when he coached for the bucs.. Other than that our list is similar

What's funny is Mark Mangino is the best coach on that list, but we'll keep seeing their names pop up. Smh

Butch Davis - Overrated Coach, great talent evaluator, old.
Tom Herman - Best choice, huge buyout at Houston and just got there. We should have hired him last year.
Rob Chudzinski - Perfect fit.

Pruitt is a realistic hire that we could afford.. Butch would be my first option but i dont see the BOTS doing nothing to help the program
 
Find it funny Crisabol was on AG staff for a few months. He saw what was going on and wanted no part of it. Coley sucks as an OC so he is just getting paid before he runs back to Jimbo, Doritos.... Haha He doesn't deserve the title DC ANYWHERE.
Kehoe will be done forever...
ICE can stay around and Hurlie also.. The rest can kick rocks swasey included
