Tvd after 4 games

BC and UL: 3.4% of passes
TVD: 4.6% of passes

Does anyone wonder why we try to force the run and limit our passes? LOL

UL, Toledo, K St, OKSt 7-3 or better with 8+ INTs. Pretty clear, protect the ball and you win more games.

Mario meddled. Everyone knows that. Not to mention that the kid had thrown the ball to the other team about 700 times since ACC play started, but against NC State we threw it 17 times out of the first 28 plays because of ******* Mario meddling and wanting to go full caveman. Bull****.

TVDs issues are in part caused by Dawson/Mario. Sure he is late on throws but why is he throwing to "smurfs" in the red zone?

TVD has zero INTs throwing to Young. Not one!

TVD has 5 throwing to George.
TVD has 4 throwing to X
TVD has 3 throwing to BS
Zero for Horton, too.

Remove the redzone INTs (at least 3) & Miami is likely 8-2. Heck, there is a good chance we are 9-1 or 10-0. This also removes the need for TVD to rescue us with last minute drives because we are winning vs behind. Thus, remove 4 more. That gets him to 16 to 5 and I'd assume the TD total goes up to 17-18 if we actually were willing to throw to Young in the redzone.

How many times has Young been targeted by TVD? 30ish times. How many in the redzone? TWO!

Now compound that with how we only run out of bunched sets(10% or less passing out of bunch sets), always have our TE and RB max protect in 11 personnel giving us 3 on 7-8.

In short, Dawson and Mario want an elite QB to fix the problem when they could fix it themselves. Personnel choices in the redzone, pass more out of 12 personnel bunched sets keeping defenses guessing, use the TE and RB to run routes vs max protect…

Lastly, we have an actual issue at RB that hasn't helped anyone. We can say that we have great RBs but ALL of them have missed games. Chaney sure looks like the best of the bunch but has one wheel. Ajay is young and hurt. Parrish hasn't played 12 games yet. Fletcher missed a month and lacks vision which will come with more reps. CJ is either in the dog house, doesn't know pass pro, or is being protected/redshirted. Citizen is an unknown and I'd expect some similar issues as Fletcher and CJ (pass pro, lacks vision). If we had Parrish and Chaney at 100% for all 12 games, the results would be different. Heck, last weekend alone we missed Chaney in the second half.

why has no one inside the building figured out the Young in redzone piece is beyond me. He beat a potential 1st round CB in Wiggins with Emory at QB so don’t tell me he can’t do it against lesser CBs.

Heck, why hasn’t someone in the Miami media called Dawson/Mario out for lack of redzone targets?

I’m going to LOL if TVD throws all ints while targeting young.
