Top 10 worst day for Miami football ever?

Everyday with Rick as the HC is just a little bit worse than the day before. So in aggregate, yes this is the worst day ever in the history of the Canes.

Today will not negatively affect the team at all, The only people whining a crying are the same group that's been doing it all year. Most of us , Most of the players tune you all and the complaining out.

Hey the next time you are giving Rick a *******, you should hum the Miami Hurricanes school fight song. That will probably cheer Rick up after today's epic failure.

Everything negative in current recruiting flows from there. I have no idea how anyone can pay attention to recruiting and be surprised at defections. Let's see, Program A has football front and center on campus. My buddies can walk a few hundred yards to watch me play. Program B plays 25 miles away in some renta-stadium with a contrived roof.

Tough call

Naturally my version will be rejected, in favor of all the genius rationalizations that vary from year to year. Obviously we've also got the bag clowns. Meanwhile the one constant is that direct comparison late in the game -- whether December or February -- leads to rejection of the University of Miami and its empty campus.

What a terrible take. The lack of an on-campus stadium has nothing to do with recruits rejecting Miami or Miami's success on the field.
 
The Shapiro article...it was the shotgun blast in the back of the head. Everything else was replacable.

I mean The Rape in the Desert is unparalleled in terms of what it cost us and what BS it was. But that happened at a high point for the program. So while I almost jumped off an 18th floor balcony on Brickell Ave, at least we were on top of the world then. I'd have to say it was the last game in the OB vs UVA. I drove down from Jax for that and literally we didn't have A SINGLE play all day that was something to cheer for. It was dreadful. It was the realization of how far our program had fallen. But at least it lead to me getting an orange bench seat for my collection.... legally, months later, online, of course.

The day I was informed that Augie DeBiase was indeed no longer listed on our official roster. Kinda felt like our collective future just went up in flames.....and that sad notion seems to be materializing.

On a different note, I'd probably leave the ST26, Pata, Barnes, Chris Campbell, etc. stuff off of these lists as they probably deserve more gravitas than being lumped in with Radio disgracing the OB on the way out.
