Too many issues to count

Strong hasn’t gotten anything out of Caleb Johnson who was 2nd team All-PAC 12, Bissainthe was missing tackles everywhere last night. His position group has regressed as well. It also doesn’t seem like Strong has been able to help him with any of his HC duties. I’m not sure Strong deserves a free pass either because like you said the only thing he has done is recruit well.
OUR LB GROUP IS THE LEAST TALENTED UNIT ON THE TEAM BY A WIDE MARGIN

Our best staff for recruiting and development since butch was Al golden. Think about that for a second. We were losing to Cincinnati and Maryland back then.

Unless a miracle happens. Mario is finished. Way too many red flags present to overcome.

What coach in the last 20 years that failed on his initial coordinator and some position coach hires turned it around? People are putting the same blind hope in Mario as they with Don Chaney. I’ve asked this multiple times: what player outside of frank gore has had multiple season ending/ partial ending injuries and become successful?

There is no way Mario becomes successful here unless the stars align and we find a miracle.

“He did well at Oregon”

Yea, Al golden did well at Temple…

It should be a massive concern that Oregon with Kenny ****** Dillongham and Bo Nix are killing people weekly. That Oregon team is playing light years better than they were under Mario.

Lance Leipold would win 5 titles here. But our admin are too ******* stupid

STEP 1: Fire Gattis (sooner the better)

STEP 2: Identify the OC you want that fits your philosophy (that philosophy better look more like Tenn and nothing like what we have today)

STEP 3: Allow that OC to bring any assistant necessary (Mirabal is the only individual who is untouchable...the rest are expendable and necessary casualties)

STEP 4: Hire that OC and his assistants (quickly...before early signing period)

STEP 5: Get the **** out of his way and let the OC do his job.

It's not that difficult, but this is Miami and we will find a way to fack this up.
Mario sounds like a smart guy. And someone who burns for UM.

I just have to believe he understands all of this and will make it happen in the off-season. Knowing how this season has gone and that recruiting is on the line he just has to.

I’m not excusing the talent we have in that unit. But how do you explain an All PAC 12 2nd team player coming here and barely seeing the field at a position we have very little talent at? How do you explain Wesley Bissainthe missing tackles all over the field last night, taking poor angles? He wasn’t ever here with Manny, and he’s 9 games in, he’s not a freshman anymore. At the very least Strong isn’t making this unit any better?

The Pac 12 sucks and is a glorified Group of 5 conference athlete wise.
Dude came in and i guess had to learn a new defensive scheme it works for some...but nothing ive seen from Caleb Johnson this year gave me the feel he was a better player than Corey Flagg which should tell you enough.

We are a team of group of 5 lbs or below that talent level honestly considering i dont think much of Keontra Smith at LB at all.

But is he though? He was with Saban for 3 years, by watching his in game coaching it doesn’t seem like he picked up much. He played on teams here that had heisman trophy winners and NFL receivers all over the place and a high powered passing game led by Toretta and Craig Erickson but he has this run first, ball control offense philosophy.

You have to wonder what Strong and Steele are thinking about these LBs. 31 looks good but young and making mistakes. The rest are BAD looking.

You don’t think an all conference group of 5 lb should be here making plays given that we are actually losing to bad group of 5 teams?

Maybe Strong has checked out, the whole Jacksonville fiasco last year with him as the assistant HC may have taken a lot out of him or maybe he had checked out before that helping to allow Meyer go unchecked.

Gattis should have been fired weeks ago. Ponce interim OC (only because you aren't going to find a guy to hire midseason) and told the only way we even consider this going beyond end of season is 35 a game from here to the end.

Is it safe to say Mario is aware of who these coaches are and will get rid of them?

No because he hired them and his coaching hires are terrible were in big trouble add to the fact that some of these buyouts will make it political

Saban: Steele to Kirby and Applewhite to McElwain

Next?
Lol the greatest coach of all time who also happened to be a HC at multiple stops while also winning a natty. Saban actually had a resume.

The dc is on a buyout already 😂😂 from his previous program

And the oc went sideways in coaching after getting and award that usually helps ypu become a hc
