Tony Barnhart Interview ft LSU vs UM

Wow, he’s still around? I remember him with a fairly decent segment, for the time, on sports center Thursday nights. Simpler times.

cliff notes please

Basically:
  • Orgeron is an illiterate drunk, likes Miami and them vs Clemson in ACCCG
  • Tyrique Stevenson will sign with the U
  • Jimbo is backstabbing ******, will never win at TAMU
  • Pruitt is a hick
  • Clemson was built on bags

The LSU game is huge for both teams. We need big sec win and to stop the bleeding from end of last year. A win puts us immediately in the playoff discussion. They need a win to even be talked about at all. Regardless of what is said about lus, this game is going to be for menfolk only. Our guys have wear big boy pants and bring wood with them.

OL better have their **** together from jump street.

I’m really looking forward to camp starting. I know he missed pretty much all of the summer but Brevin Jordan will, and needs to be, our rookie of the year.

Sounds like all agreeable things. LSU does have numerous variables stacked against them going into the game vs the U. But I suppose one could argue that with the lack of experience they could catch us off-guard. I for one don’t see that happening; in fact I think it’s a close game for 3 quarters then the Canes pull away in the 4th, winning by 13pts. Miami is maturing and we will get to see a ton of freshmen play this year which will only help our ranks come 2019, when I believe we will have a fighter’s chance at the CFP. Richt has already laid the foundation for growth and prosperity at Miami...now comes when it begins to payoff for the team, and the university. We’re stacked depth wise at many more positions now than way back in 2016, and with the next few Top 10recruiting classes I feel the deck will be fully stacked and ready to begin our ascent for ring #6. All in all it’s a great time to be a fan of the U, the bad, stale taste of AG it seems is finally starting to wear off.

Yep

I like him bringing up that "chip on the shoulder" slant for the Canes; think he put it as a chance to 'wipe the slate clean', after losing the last 3.

Sure its fairly obvious, but it never hurts going into a season to be reminded of a 15 game wining streak, flipping into a losing streak.

And I can see the wheels already turning in some of your pointy little heads. But, can you spare a brother another debate on the reasons why (Dead Horse)? This is a different team and it's about looking ahead.

I liked the point that if the current playoff rules were instituted before Richt’s UGA tenure, then he would have had them in the playoffs at least 2 times, maybe more.

All we heard from UGA fans last year was that Kirby was the one who finally got them over the hump, accomplishing something Richt never did — providing UGA the opportunity to play for a national championship. But if this were the BCS era, Kirby wouldn’t have gotten them there either. They ended up being a 3rd seed in last year’s playoff, so it’s ridiculous to demonize Richt for having a taller hill to climb, in my opinion. During his tenure, you had to finish in the top 2 to get a shot. Now, you can qualify for the playoffs and win one game to get in. It’s just ridiculous for UGA fans to make some of these claims.

That peach bowl beat down alone should ensure we come fired up. Those boys will be. Richt is a better coach than Orgeron. We should be able to win

LSU was picked 5th In the SEC west by the coaches..
SEC cucks in the media will put a spin job on how tough the SEC is. That's why most of the **** conference is ranked to start the year. Then they talk about how tough their schedules are.

I hope our team don't over look LSU thinking they just have to show up like some of our fans. LSU DC is a beast and scheme his defense very well from week to week. Where our weakness is on offense (o-line & qb) plays right in his hands and shouldn't be over looked as much as some are doing. LSU defense will keep them in da game. Their secondary is suppose to be da weakest part and they have an all-American cb and maybe safety(probably all-conference)🤔. Nothing is going to be a piece of cake. Da problems our o-line had this spring they betta step it up LSU front 7 coming #12 betta make good decisions and stay poised. Can't wait to show everybody what we made of DA U will make statement week 1😉.
