Makes no sense for Cuckbo to do this unless it’s just a money thing.

10 win seasons are the ceiling at TAMU, and that’s in good years, so it’s not about winning.
 
I heard Ferman is resigning at the end of the year and going to Yahoo for $8 and a reach-around from Charles Robinson.

Only major football school with longer money than A&M is Texas. $$$ is not their problem.

Dabo and Clemson's facilities are so deep in Jimbo's head I wouldn't be shocked if he's willing to try to fight it out with Saban so long as he has shiny new buildings to reside in.

You gotta realize this guy went through a humialiating divorce. Couple that with an awful season not seen in Tally in over 30 years, fighting with fans, etc., and it's not difficult to see why he might leave.

CFB fans can pretend it's all about football all of the time - but it's not.

Go look at Jimbo's record before the scandal with his wife, and compare to afterwards. It ain't all about 4 and 5 star kids.

A&M would be a great fit for him imo.
 
If TAMU were smart, they would go get Chad Morris from SMU, he'd be much cheaper & probably get better results than having to spend all that money to get Jumbo.

I think Sumlin is a good Coach, but the demands of being in the Sec West & dealing with the TAMU BOT's must take a toll & it's probably best they part ways.

SEC gigs have become some of the worst jobs in College Football due to unrealistic expectations from administrative Higher ups/Boosters & insane unruly fans.

If I'm a good coach, I'm not taking no Sec job unless I'm guaranteed at least $20million total during my tenure either through annual salary or buyout money & I'm having my agent put all kinds of clauses in the contract that force those mf's to pay in full, none of that slick you didn't shake enough hands so we doing have to pay you everything we owe bull****.

As for Jumbo, it seems like TAMU is interested because they believe him to be a QB developer despite the fact all his QB's have busted in the NFL lol & I'm guessing they still stuck chasing after Saban's shadow.

The AD's & Money men at all these SEC programs have got be the dumbest group of rich fools I've ever seen. I don't think they realize the only way to really beat Saban is have a Coach that isn't afraid of him & absolutely attacks the heart of his Defense.

All the Coaches who beat Saban have a completely different philosophy than him & all his former assistant clones have routinely gotten their *** beat by him, its pretty simple to figure out lol Stop hiring Saban disciples expecting to beat Saban.
