Favorite part of that one punch was Toney not retaliating and when he saw nothing would happen he just casually threw a little shoulder check into him to let him know that he knew he was in his headTwo punches thrown at him this game right in front of an official. Add that to JoJo being dragged against the field by his facemask right in front of an official and no penalties between the 3.
the extent to which this kid has been a total pro from the jump and he just turned 18 like a week ago is nuts.Favorite part of that one punch was Toney not retaliating and when he saw nothing would happen he just casually threw a little shoulder check into him to let him know that he knew he was in his head
0 was one of those players as well lolEverybody was messing with 0 lmao. Sweetest thing is watching the players that chose them over us. Enjoy your season. Looks real promising lol.
Yeah, some kids have just eaten football for so long that it's obvious. I mentioned to some friends that I watched a 6th grade (10-12 year olds) game this past weekend, and there was a kid who was immediately popping off the field. I asked some parents about him, and sure enough..."he's played since he was allowed to get into pads; he's obsessed."I don’t understand how someone so young and seemingly light (can’t be more than 170?) can be so strong and effective as a blocker against older and presumably stronger/heavier players. And even if you tell me it’s technique and leverage, are you telling me he learned all that in the past 8 months that he’s been at UM?
My conclusion. He is a freak of nature. You probably would not even notice him if you walked by him at the mall. But there is just something completely different about him that is undefinable to me at least.
Special kid, special work ethic. Blessed to have him on this teamYeah, some kids have just eaten football for so long that it's obvious. Toney does little things you watch and expect from "old heads." Kid's probably watched and played in so many situations that the game just moves slower for him. I pray for his health. He's a physical kid and just turned 18.
I think Toney was baiting the opposing defenders into throwing a punch to try and get the penalty.Favorite part of that one punch was Toney not retaliating and when he saw nothing would happen he just casually threw a little shoulder check into him to let him know that he knew he was in his head
Who is that?0 was one of those players as well lol
