Miami's two-deep depth chart following the first scrimmage

Here's how Miami's depth chart looked following the scrimmage on Sunday night.

That scary. We need to land Walker in this OL class and hope him and Rivers can come in and be on the 2 deep next year.

Butler had a top offense in D2. Kennedys dissapointment is a surprise to most. His film shows a different player than we got.

Congrats on your degree from butler. Good hoops program. Move along

Butler grad transfer OL Tommy Kennedy chooses the Canes

The Canes land a potential instant impact talent in Kennedy that could start from day one. UM won out over Oklahoma and Auburn here

How bout my boi, Moose Griffin? How he doing?

Strongest guy on team but athletically is limited but a walk-on and maybe in for FGs, Xtra-points etc.

[txcanes]

I stand corrected, but if memory serves Butler was bad and wasn’t even honorable mention all conference.

At least be accurate. Yeah he is a washout, but get your head out and read who all was recruiting him and his resume. Cant tolerate lazy bashing fans.

[Ethnicsands]

What report or knowledge do you have for this? I’m pretty sure the last depth chart article I read had him with the second string line. I love how people on forums know everything they need to know about a dude without seeing them play literally one time

Second string on the UM line means you’re alive.

[grover]

I stand by my statement in the original thread. Kid has good feet, the unknown was always if he had the requisite strength. This is the same evaluation team that took Zion. Both were projections and Kennedy was the safer bet. So far Kennedy has disappointed while Zion has surpassed all expectations.

[gatorsSUCK!]

Can we redshirt him medically for a feeble malnourished body? Let Ace Feeley have another year w him

[hotshot]

Butler beat Stetson and Taylor last year. https://butlersports.com/index.aspx?path=football
They do not offer any kind of scholarships for football. Anyone who ever thought this kid was going to play here is either retarded or just a hater to think we suck that bad to have to play a kid as awful Kennedy

What does that say about Manny and his staff?

[troyskiles]

I saw a photo of Kennedy in the front row in the team picture with the woman who spoke to them on sexual harassment. He still has too soft a body. But the kid is really big and looks in much better condition than 6-8 months ago. I wouldn't count him out just yet. Feeley has another project on his hands.

Well, he better get to work quick then because time is running out on this kid.

Whatever happened to him? Seems like I haven't even seen him in line to compete for a starting job or even be a key backup. Is he hurt or has he just really not adjusted to Power 5 football?

Worst addition of 2019.

He's on the far far far end of the bench.....in a separate zip code

Nesta bullied him during spring practice. Kennedy never stood a chance here.

Ehh we struck out on kennedy but hit a home run with Zion, thats the way it goes with OL croots

Lazy? You have no clue. Lazy is thinking that a kid is good just because he supposedly has an offer from Oklahoma. This kid played in the pioneer conference. Yes he played in some games, so what. His last year at Butler he was second team all pioneer conference. Again, not impressed. If you or anyone else had half a brain you would have looked at his build/physique and say an unathletic division 2 middle of the road OL. That’s what I saw well before he committed. So keep calling people lazy, which is in of itself lazy, and relying on offer sheets to determine who can play.

[Canes Device]

That was a dark time this off-season. Fans were thinking we had out LT because of him. Crazy we have a true frosh, app state flip in line to start and feel way better

[blackvern]

Never understood why we crooted him, we should have walking as good as him

[coffeecane]

He's a body. Who cares. Be here 1 year. It's not like we're maxed out on ships. He was worth a try and still may end up seeing the field.

Walker and Rivers start next year.
