People forget that Jimmy made major staff changes after his first year at UM. Now, that was a bit different because he inherited a bunch of guys he had to take from the previous regime.

But still, the needed changes were made -- and quickly.

exactly. Manure hired this staff. I don’t think he’s going to pull the trigger on coordinator position axing but yeah, that’s his only chance to give himself and his tram a chance - hire a new coordinator. Question is, which one? I vote for enos and let manny dictate more on defense. That’s manny’s last chance for next year.

Its interesting, as excited as he got the fan base this past off-season.

It's a complete 180 heading into this one

This was the very definition of over-promising and under-delivering

Now, if he stays with the status quo, oh boy....

Truthfully needs both coordinators upgraded. He can't spend the kind of time on defense he did later this season and have any shot at saving himself as HC.

Watch Miami waits for everyone to hire their coaches before making any moves. But recruiting guysm...

I hear ya.....didn't get a chance to watch them much, just looking at their scores on their web site and noticed they scored a lot, even when they lost....I don't see us scoring 30 something on lsu..lol
Remember, they're in the Big 12 where Defense is optional.

I know but they scored a bunch on lsu and uga last bowl season....on the other hand, living in Maryland and a Terp grad to boot, still scratching head over them losing to my alma mater....lol

There were a number of extenuating circumstances this year. Mainly injuries, which were much higher than normal and wrecked the defense. The entire RB corp was out of action entering the year, leading a backup QB having to act as running back.
You cant make this arguement for mostly every team

So we got Texas, Fsu, and possibly USC all looking at filling out new staffs while we haven't made a single move yet. Good.
Manny is waiting for the right time to throw his staff under the bus. And that will be the year before he's fired.

He can tell Barry to kick rocks as well that's why ditching enos is just the least he could do.
The oline had improved..yesterday was a mix of the injuries..I’ll say this, I was wrong to criticize Barry for rolling with the young cats..I thought he was thinking long term and compromising the short term..but those guys truly are the best option
