Tom Brady talks about QB Development in the NFL

This is why Miami’s number one recruit is Dawson. Cam ward went from later day to number 1. Beck could be the next one. Dawson clearly can develop kids that are willing to put in the work. Heck Emory looks better this year.
I don't mean to be that guy, but how is Dawson the #1 recruit?

Ward and Beck are playing very similar to how they played at the rest of their stops. The difference between Georgia, Washington St, Incarnate Word and Miami? It's not Dawson, it's the Great Wall of Mirabal.

That's why we'll always attract smart QBs in the Transfer Portal.

QBs aren't coming to Miami without a good to great OC without overpaying on NIL. We have already been paying the suck tax. How about we win and figure that out if Dawson leaves.

Nice tribute to Dawson but shouldn't you wait until he's 2-3 years removed from this gig? In the meantime, the narrative should be how much he suxxx and how Dana Holgerson had to remove his play-calling duties at Houston.

Like him or not, this is a great conversation. Around the 5 min mark , he talks about himself and the evaluations put on him based on physical traits. It reminded me so much of Restrepo....

Good listen.

Why does he look like Mark Cuban/Rachel Maddow?

Seriously, good discussion.

Sure Dawson sucks. I hate how he goes full turtle mode up 3 scores. My point about QB development still stands. If we can bring in another OC that has a good track record of QB develop that doesn't go full turtle when up, I'm good.

Dawson has done well with QBs. Easier with elite OLs. At the same time, I don't know how much to trust our recruiting as we don't seem to have that go to next protege on the roster. I like Nickel, but hoped for him to fly past our other backups on the roster. Recruiting can be invalidated so long as we continue to hit big on the position in the portal.

As far as Emory, he might just be a cupcake killer. He diced up Bethune 2 years ago, Ball State last year and Bethune this year.

I was being sarcastic.
Believe it or not, Schnellenberger used to get ripped by all 36 fans who used to show up at the Orange Bowl. Alot of it centered around him being conservative with the play-calling which is funny considering how he changed the college game.
All coaches have their pluses and minuses.

All good.

IMO Brady should move to an in-studio job where he would have the time to talk about stuff like this at length. Being in the booth, trying to speak in short bursts in real time isn't his strong suit

If you've never seen his Veritasium video about the physics of throwing a football, dude has an innate feel for the game. And I apologize for linking to a video of fancy book learning without superimposing tiddy ladies into it
